Intro to the corporate world!

So many questions from fresh graduates desperately wanting to get the corporate life started but not sure where to begin with. How should I apply to this company? Should I avail resume services to get a job? I want to prove myself in this domain but I can’t seem to find a job as they prefer experienced profiles. What should I do?

The entry Point:

A fit resume and impressive cover letter will find its way! Just put it in the right place. Don’t expect magic but wait for the moment. Do not use the copy & paste content for all the jobs you apply. Read the job first, justify your skills, edit the content and then share. Go give a call if needed but just once (max twice). Don't Rush.

Positive Approach and simple tasks:

Someone forgets his resume and expects the recruiter to share the same with him. Job gone! How hard is it to carry needed documents as advised, even after multiple reminders? You are here to prove your worth so make things happen. Read the job and glance the lessons you studied or certificates you earned. Show the interviewer the discipline they might be looking for and the confidence (or at least act) they want in you. Skills could be taught or learnt later but attitude, by none.

The look factor:

Dress clean & neat. Smell nice, look in the eye and put that smile on your face and make the first impression last long. Make it a habit to win the person and the job is yours. Sound professional though, you aren’t going to act in the movies for this one.

The exit Sub titles:

The moment is gone you are walking out and don’t just show your back. Give a nice firm hand shake, the friendly look, thank them for their time and show them you noticed their speech by taking positive things from it and letting them know you learnt something out of the meeting and walk out like a king, slow and steady.

Wait for the call or go hunt till you find your dream! Stay calm and composed irrespective of the result.
