Hellas Direct and Skroutz Corporate Solutions: A true loyalty story

At Hellas Direct, we grow together with our customers. Our family consists of all the people working with us and sharing the same vision, but also of all people honouring us with their trust by choosing Hellas Direct’s insurance and financing products.

And, by going from 0 to 300k customers in 10 years, we feel we get rewarded every time drivers renew their policy, every time we get a phone call or an email saying “thank you for everything”, every time someone praises the way we work. We, on our side, work hard to keep and nourish this customer loyalty. It takes two to tango. 

Customer loyalty and commitment

Customer loyalty is a privilege not easily earned. After all, we don't earn loyalty in a day. We earn loyalty day-by-day. We all know the vast number of choices people have regarding every need, every purchase, every service. And still, loyal customers make the same choice, trusting us for their insurance. Thus, from customers, they become advocates of both our business and our way of doing things. Because their choice is conscious and made taking into consideration who we are, what we do and how.

They get to know us, they know our products, get familiar with the service we provide, and therefore become our “voice” even when we are silent. They recommend our services to other people and share their awesome experiences. They are undoubtedly a valuable part of the Hellas Direct family!

Staying true to your values

We acknowledge their commitment, we believe in equal opportunities for all, we are always working towards a full democratization of our products. During the Easter 2022 period, we had a perfect opportunity to give something back to thousands of customers who honour us with their trust. We decided to gift something to everyone - not only to new customers, therefore not in a sense of new business acquisition scheme, but rather as a reward to our entire customer base, new and existing.

The choice of gift was a no-brainer. We wanted to give something valuable, flexible and, of course, digital. Skroutz gift cards were the No1 choice! In similar past initiatives, rewards could be restricting. With Skroutz gift cards, we offered customers a €15 reward that could be redeemed over a 9-month period (by end of year, Xmas time included). And, most importantly, we didn’t decide what the gift will be: with Skroutz hosting more than 7 million products to choose from, we estimate that not a single gift card will go unused. As far as procedure is concerned, our Skroutz partner delivered all we needed within hours!

Lesson learned: Always be loyal to your values, to what you stand for. Thank your supporters for choosing you. First of all by constantly offering them outstanding service, great products and sincere commitment. But also by rewarding them for their loyalty. And that was our way to say “thank you” to everyone out there who joins our family - and sticks with us.

The reception was very warm and, once again, rewarding. Given the huge success this Easter initiative had, we are of course considering expanding with similar initiatives to our internal teams, as a way to thank each and every one of them for their daily effort and drive to make things right and our world a better place. Once again, Corporate Solutions offered by Skroutz are among the first of our choices.
