Ford Adapta 2024 Tour Starts with Presentation of First E-Transit Adapted from Spain

MADRID, Spain - The Ford Adapta 2024 tour, Ford’s initiative to promote inclusive mobility, has begun with an event at the Ford Romadrid dealership in Alcobendas, where Mustang Mach-E and the first E-Transit adapted in Spain for people with reduced mobility will be available for testing this month.

The event takes place on the 10th anniversary of the Ford Adapta program, developed jointly by Ford Spain, its Dealer Network and the ONCE Foundation, to provide access to mobility for people with disabilities using innovative technologies and personalised services.

The mayoress of Alcobendas, Rocío García Alcántara, said: "I am deeply proud that something so big is starting in Alcobendas and can help almost 2,500 neighbours with reduced mobility.

“And also, I am grateful to Ford for its great work in the inclusion of people with reduced mobility. It is a cause for celebration for Ford Spain to have completed 10 years of the Ford Adapta programme.”

The test vehicles will be at the Ford Romadrid dealership (Alcobendas) until June 17 and will then be taken to cities throughout the country.
