Be Fierce but be Kind.
I wanted to share some "words of wisdom" that were written by Sir Winston Churchill when he was only 24. He was reminded of these words during the "Great Fog" of 1952 when Britain was in crisis and needed intuitive leadership and excellence.
Churchill was a controversial Leader of his time but he got things done. That said this is a quote that I share with you all with a purely bi-partisan intent.
"Here this young men and women everywhere and proclaim it far and wide. The earth is yours and the fullness thereof. Be kind but be fierce, you are needed now more than ever, take up the mantle of change, for this is your time"
So, with that said, this earth and this country is ours, we must be kind to one another yet fierce in our beliefs and values.I believe that no matter who is President of our country, WE must take up the responsibility of change. Lets not blame or hate others who have different thoughts than ours, instead lets;
Accept our differences.
Ask challenging questions of one another.
Allow one another to express themselves with pride
Adapt to the changes that are never inevitable.
Account for OUR behaviors with dignity and,
Achieve greatness individually and as a country.
May God bless you all, and may God Bless the UNITED States of America
