Doe Hill Underbridge Reconstructed in 52 hours!

TCC/75A Doe Hill Underbridge carries the Up and Down Blackwell Slow railway lines in Morton near Stonebroom, Derbyshire and is used as a diversionary loop for freight traffic. Chris Chatfield, Network Rail and David Millar, AmcoRail will give a presentation that will detail the complexities of installation of the replacement bridge and the various interfaces necessary to complete the works within the tight 52 hour possession allowed.

Chris Chatfield is a chartered civil engineer, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Project Manager – Civils Renewals for Network Rail.

David Millar is a Senior Project Manager with AMCOrail and also a chartered civil engineer.  He has worked in the rail industry for over 17 years with main contractors Balfour Beatty, Carillion and Network Rail.
