CyLon in 2018

CyLon in 2018

Well, where did January and half of February go? It has been a busy start to 2018 at CyLon, and there’s no sign of the pace slowing. Since bidding farewell to our fantastic sixth cohort at the end of 2017, we’ve sifted a huge number of applicants for cohort seven, shortlisted and interviewed 25 outstanding startups, and we can't wait for March 26, when the next programme begins. We will announce details of the participating startups in cohort seven very soon.

In the mean time, we've been assessing the newest batch of exceptional candidates for HutZero, the pre-accelerator for aspiring entrepreneurs we run in partnership with CSIT (Queen’s Belfast) and the Department for Digital (DCMS). And we are preparing for a significant expansion of CyLon’s programmes this year, on which there will be more to say in the very near future. Watch this space.

Right now, we are growing our team to enable a range of new initiatives, and to build on the success of our London programme. Among our 45 CyLon startups many are already forging reputations for themselves at the leading edge of the cyber security industry; companies like Tessian (formerly CheckRecipient), VChain, RipJar, and Immersive Labs. But this is an area of constant innovation, and we are always looking for new ways to support our startups, and new partners with whom to work. If you want to be part of the CyLon mission, we want to hear from you. Information about new positions at CyLon can be found at Workable, and there's much more about our programmes, our team, and our startups on the CyLon website: https://cylonlab.com.
