Celebrating 25 years of transformation

This is a special year for the Eaton Singapore team as we celebrate our 25th anniversary. It's a significant milestone for all of us and would not have been possible without the efforts of everyone who has been a part of Eaton's success - past and present. A lot has changed in 25 years and I'm proud to see how the team has grown, supporting Singapore’s journey as a global city of commerce and innovation.

Today, Singapore is a world-leading data and technology hub, and a key infrastructural node in the regional and global digital transformation of businesses. We have been fortunate to play a part in many key data centre projects over the past two decades, such as Singapore’s first marine uninterruptible power supply (UPS) service hub which supports onboard repairs for vessels passing through our bustling port.

As we work towards a greener future, we are also looking forward to playing a bigger role in shaping our relationship with energy and power management. Last year, we installed the first lithium-ion battery solution in a data centre’s UPS. Such energy storage systems could open up new possibilities for organisations to participate in the regulation of a distributed power grid, and pave the way for a more sustainable approach to digitalisation across the region.

To kick off our anniversary celebrations, we’ve launched the Eaton SG25 website, a platform to showcase our journey since 1995 and highlight our milestones and collective achievements. Over the course of the year, we look forward to sharing more about the partnerships and the spirit of innovation that have made such a positive impact. We welcome you to join in the celebrations by submitting your well wishes to the team on the website - we would be more than happy to share them on the page.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my colleagues, our partners and customers again for their continued trust and support. As we focus on building a more energy-resilient Asia, I hope that you’ll continue to partner us on this journey.

I look forward to connecting with everyone in-person soon. Till then, stay healthy, and mask up!
