A Big Day for Water

Every day at Xylem, we work to solve the world’s biggest water challenges. In January, we announced we would bring together two great water companies: Xylem and Evoqua Water Technologies. Today, our Evoqua colleagues join Xylem, and we take a bold step forward in our mission to solve water. Together, we are creating a transformative global platform to solve critical water challenges at an even greater scale around the world.  

Water challenges are escalating. Water insecurity is escalating. Communities and businesses are dealing with intensifying problems with water scarcity, quality, affordability, and resilience to climate change. And while awareness of water as a systemic risk has never been greater, more than two billion people still lack access to this essential resource. Solving water has never been more urgent.

Many of the solutions already exist to make water safer, more accessible, and more affordable. The task is to deploy them more widely around the world.

That’s why we think of this as a big day for water. As one company, we are even more capable of meeting customers’ and communities’ mission-critical water needs with the most advanced platform of solutions to the world’s biggest water challenges.
