The Beauty of working in Richemont
The emotions of the visit to Homo Faber through the eyes of a Trainee

The Beauty of working in Richemont

How many forms can beauty take? In how many places can we look for it, trying to keep it tight? Sometimes we find beauty in a good fragrance, in a gift that reminds us of someone, or in a dialogue in which we understand each other straight away. Other times it is something that surprises us: a vase without contents, a steady top, an uncomfortable dress, a pool without water.
Expected or not, beauty speaks to us immediately, through those that create it, protect and love it.And it pushes us, as in a spell, to linger on it, to enjoy it for a while. This is why, in Venice, I lingered so often in front of all those works that intellect and hand, together, have realized. And it was probably for this reason that during my first interview I just wanted to stay there and keep listening stories from that world. “Why Richemont?" This was the question to decide where to do my internship. the variables that convinced me four months ago were the opportunity to learn, the charm of the Maisons, the professionalism of my tutors... today I have to add less tangible emotions that also speak about Homo Faber: a trip by steamboat, bare feet on the teak of a vintage boat, the ink that stains a nib, a thread that becomes a weft.

Marianna Pisani, HR Trainee

From 14 to 30 September 2018 more than 100 colleagues from Richemont Italy visited the Homo Faber exhibition, organized by Michelangelo Foundation at the Giorgio Cini Foundation, San Giorgio Maggiore Island, Venice.

The Group has also offered numerous other colleagues from all around the world the opportunity to invest in themselves through this magnificent experience.
