Addressing Industry Challenges at the RSMA Annual Conference

At Re-flow we are proud of our partnerships with the local community, and we love it when these align with the very essence of the company, which could be summed up in the phrase ‘striving for a better future’.

This better future might come through our app’s ability to reduce wasted time, reduce paperwork, and to increase business efficiency – or otherwise through our team-ups with the likes of women’s rugby team,  The Topsham Tempests, at the start of February.

The story of the Tempests is a good one, as our marketing group found out during their matchday visit. The club’s previously uncertain future – they were losing too many players – flipped to something far more positive recently. Now the club are looking healthy again, and despite The Tempests losing on that particular day we were proud to sponsor their training shirts – just the beginning of an exciting stream of future community outreach projects coming up this year.

RSMA Annual Conference

Next, in the second week of February, the Re-flow team headed up the M5 to Kenilworth to attend the Road Safety Marking Association’s (RSMA) Annual Conference and Dinner. The team went to a series of forward-thinking talks that covered current industry challenges and the promotion of better collaboration within the industry.

On the show floor, our team discussed ongoing industry pain points with established clients and potential future clients alike. The theme driving the RSMA was ‘collaboration’, and we agree with this sentiment. By working together, we can improve health and safety practices and reduce incursions, improve retention and recruitment, and improve mental health in the sector.

Re-flow 1.7

Iteration is the way to perfection, and February also saw the release of Re-flow update 1.7. Happily, Re-flow 1.7 was a baby of notable beauty. (Sure, as parents of course we’d say that).

But look. It’s true. The update features a host of quality-of-life additions, and, wonderfully, an AI-powered reporting feature that allows you, at the click of a button, to transform your field data into easy-to-analyse graphs and charts. This impressive visualisation solution allows you to draw conclusions and share insights easier than ever before. The future is here, and as 2024 builds momentum, we’re proud to be moving with the flow and – more than that – to find ourselves excelling.

Re-flow's authoritative new features include a brand-new plant and equipment hiring system, which allows clients to have full control over their hire processes. There’s the expanded Bill of Quantities, created automatically against new jobs. There’s the ever-expanding list of integrations with third-party software packages. Overall, we’re pleased to say the release was a success.

Last but not least, our Re-flow team split Manchester in two, more than City and United ever have – while spending two days at the Interchange Annual Conference. The split was between those who knew us before and those who came to know us – those who learnt about our dedication towards providing a truly best-in-class – definitive – field management system. Sure, that’s the better future alright – better-run projects, and better growth.
