The 8th Global Edge Computing Conference was successfully held in Shanghai, drawing attention to the "SOPHGO Edge Large Model Application" sub-forum

On December 16th, the 8th Global Edge Computing Conference opened along the Huangpu River in Shanghai, where SOPHGO was honored with the "2023 Edge Computing Annual Leading Enterprise" award. As a major event in the global edge computing industry, the 8th Global Edge Computing Conference brought together numerous experts, scholars, and representatives from well-known enterprises to engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the latest research findings and development trends in the fields of large models and edge computing. The conference was attended by executives and technical leaders from Tencent, Alibaba, Baidu, China Mobile Communications Corporation, DELL, Intel, Lenovo, SOPHGO, KUNLUN, EMQ, Smartx, Zenlayer, among others, who shared their technological perspectives and valuable industry experiences. At this edition of the Global Edge Computing Conference, SOPHGO was honored with the "2023 Edge Computing Annual Leading Enterprise" award.

At the beginning of the sub-forum, Mr. Cai Qinghua, the Chairman of the Evaluation Expert Group for the Major IoT Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Executive Deputy Director of the Operation and Maintenance Committee of the China Communications Enterprise Association, delivered a speech. He stated that with the development of technologies such as 5G, the Internet of Things, and deep learning, the application scenarios of edge computing continue to expand, bringing revolutionary changes to various industries. He emphasized the need for more in-depth research and application of edge computing technology in the future, as well as strengthening the promotion of standardization and unifying the requirements of various industries' edge scenarios to enhance data processing efficiency.

 SOPHGO's Senior Vice President, Gao Peng, delivered a keynote speech titled "LLM for everyone, LLM everywhere - SOPHGO Edge Large Model Computing Power Roadmap Sharing." He highlighted that the era of inclusive deep learning has arrived, and the development of edge large models poses higher demands on intelligent computing power. Accelerating large model processing based on the RISC-V architecture extension instruction has become an industry hotspot. During the event, SOPHGO, together with its ecological partners, released a series of collaborative products, including the joint release with Radxa of microservers RuiSha Fogwise® BM168M and RuiSha Fogwise® BM168Q, the joint release with Changzhou Haitu of the microserver Hibox A100, and the joint release with Qianshitong of the large model edge gateway and large model edge integrated machine.

 In the signing ceremony, SOPHGO signed product pre-sale contracts with ecological cooperative enterprises such as Guangbao, Nanjing Ruijing, Shujuwanlian, and Qianshitong, and strategic cooperation agreements with China Mobile Jiujian Branch, Zhichang Group, Dongri Technology, and other companies.
