1937 Ford Pro Street ALL-STEEL Coupe for Sale
This is a professionally built, no money spared, ALL-STEEL 1937 Ford Coupe. The car is a masterpiece of quality and detail work. Just some of the modifications include the installation of the Tudor sedan doors that are actually 6" longer than stock coupe door. This modification along with tipping the "B" posts forward create a very pleasing enhanced look. The rear quarters have been lowered, custom running boards fabricated and raked forward which required modifying the bottom lower edges of the front fenders to match the rake angle. The roof has been welded & leaded in place as well as a custom shaped rain gutter. A special rear roll pan has been fabricated. All the stock body sheet metal has been carefully straightened by spot heating & quenching resulting in arrow straight panels. Seams were welded and then leaded in to avoid using bondo. Not a single detail has been overlooked. With plenty of power, the engine was designed to run on pump gas. It has a modified 400 turbo transmission with a full Mark Williams 9" Ford rear end. The coupe has .060" wall 3" polished stainless exhaust where each side has been built in mirror image to each other from the headers through polished custom stainless sheet wrapped Flowmaster mufflers out the back of the car. It features linear actuated exhaust cut outs located at the end of the collectors. The graphics & paint scheme came from Thom Taylor who supplied concept drawings prior to the build. The coupe has a beautifully detailed cloth interior with wool carpets. The underside & outside of the coupe is finished with House of Kolors base coat/clear coat. With just over 3200 miles on the speedometer, it runs great & has been fitted with a custom built oversize Griffin radiator so it runs cool. A full photo history of the build along with CAD drawings of many of the custom parts, detailed wiring diagrams & paper work as well as many extras will go to the purchaser. (Two sets of engine side panels included). The asking price is a small fraction of what has been spent and is unrelated to the actual expense that would be required to duplicate this one of a kind, streetable show winner. The car should be seen in person to appreciate the quality of the build. This coupe was chosen as the Inaugural Street Rodder Magazine Top 10 WINNER & also received a Pigeon Forge Top 25 Pick among many other awards.
