The ZBOSS Open Initiative or ZOI, is a community of companies working on a common Zigbee® PRO software platform, ZBOSS. ZOI Members share the common understanding of the value of working together to overcome the challenges around interoperability, security, testing and optimization of Zigbee-enabled products and solutions.

ZOI drastically lowers the barriers to entry around Zigbee® development, with a royalty-free community centered around ZBOSS, our proven Zigbee® PRO stack. Many different types of companies are ZOI Members, including chipset vendors, consumer product manufacturers, service providers and test houses.

The member-source approach reduces the need for in-house stack maintenance and ZBOSS’s platform interoperability protects you from chip shortages and predatory vendor agreements.
