Simulating an Aviation Gas Turbine with CONVERGE
We utilized CONVERGE’s autonomous meshing and accurate combustion modeling to simulate an aviation gas turbine, which is included in CONVERGE Studio as an example case. At no extra cost, CONVERGE Studio contains the setup files for this—and many other—gas turbine example cases. These cases allow you to conduct parametric studies to determine the sensitivity of spray, combustion, heat transfer, and turbulence models on results such as NOx, flame shape, and wall and exit profile temperatures.
