Confidential reporting of irregularities, infractions or crimes (whistleblowing) in public or private entities is a crucial issue, with numerous cases in which the lack of timely knowledge about irregular situations brings irreparable consequences for these organizations.

transparent is the Portuguese platform that allows in 2 hours any organization to create its whistleblowing channel ready to use and in compliance with the Law 93/2021.

This Law transposes the Directive (EU) 2019/1937, which requires the implementation of a whistleblowing channel in all entities with more than 50 employees.

Failure to comply with the law is punishable by fines of up to €250,000.
