Having the opportunity to contribute to educational research has been a profoundly rewarding experience. In this paper, I delve into the critical role that process intensification plays in the curriculum for undergraduate chemical engineering students. This topic is not only vital for students in Malaysia but holds global significance in preparing future engineers to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions. Process intensification enhances efficiency, reduces environmental impact, and fosters a deeper understanding of sustainable practices—key competencies for the next generation of chemical engineers.
