Leasing Director at STRABAG Real Estate | Office Space | Commercialization | Retail | Mixed-Use | Commercial Real Estate | PropTech | Innovation
Redefining the office experience! ➡️ 84% of employees work from the office at least once a week, and 61% work exclusively on-site. ➡️ 51% of workers agree that their office building is well-designed and user-friendly, while 30% remain neutral. ➡️ 82% of employees experience joy from being with their team “in person”. This data comes from the latest Cushman & Wakefield report on UX offices in #Poland. The evolution of the #commercial #realestate market in recent years has cast a new light on workspace design and its optimal adaptation to user needs. Today, intuitive and well-considered solutions are crucial. This very approach guided #STRABAGRealEstate in designing the #UpperOne complex. Although we are currently constructing the underground part of the #office building, I am already convinced that working there will be 100% comfortable and satisfying for the tenants. #RealEstateMarket #FutureOfWork #Sustainability #WorkOnProgress

Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. Quoting Steve Jobs might seem clichéd but it truly encapsulates our design ethos. While curating and building workspaces for our clients, we’ve always focused on capturing the essence of the brand, which has garnered us not just accolades but also higher customer satisfaction. At Awfis, we understand the importance of workplace designs and follow a design thinking approach that captures and reflects the changing workplace trends and preferences. Envisioning designs that represent a company’s values, and beliefs while also empowering employees and catering to their needs is half the job done. The true game-changer is bringing this vision to life. Each environment serves as a canvas where creativity meets functionality, sparking ideas and fostering collaborations. We are not merely transforming workspaces; we are shaping the #FutureofWork. I’m grateful to all the clients who have placed their trust in us and for being true partners in helping us bring their space to life. #Awfis #Design&Build #WorkspaceDesign #ManagedOffices

OTMD - Steelcase On The Move Desktop (OTMD) was born from a collaborative project with Steelcase, a renowned office space and furniture company, in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our mission was to redefine the concept of office spaces, considering the prevailing governmental restrictions, while enhancing work ethic and complying with regulations. The inspiration behind OTMD arose from the substantial workload individuals faced while working from home. As I discovered that it was my least preferred work environment, I sought to investigate if others shared the same sentiment. Through questionnaires and online interviews, I found that many people echoed my concerns, expressing their worries about the negative impact on mental health resulting from being confined to a single location. To address these concerns, OTMD introduces a unique opportunity to work from various spaces. By providing a wearable and foldable desktop, users can create a workspace wherever they go. This allows individuals to work in unconventional areas, even outdoors during their daily walks, while maintaining a safe distance and adhering to guidelines. Looking beyond the pandemic, my design aims to unlock possibilities for working in situations where seating may be unavailable, such as a crowded coffee shop, a bus stop, or even on a train. OTMD envisions a future where work can be seamlessly integrated into different environments. Furthermore, OTMD offers versatility through its adaptable design. By providing templates, users can choose to work with different mediums, such as an art palette or a laptop holder. With future developments, I envision expanding into areas like art & craft, DIY and more. This is my second year client collaborative university project that lasted around 1-2 months. #productdesign #desktops #creativedesign #artdesign #working #design #industrialdesign

AI is not just a digital design tool; it's influencing physical office spaces too! Architects are beginning to use AI to optimise workplaces based on occupancy data, helping redesign office layouts. But is it working? Not exactly… For AI to design offices, it needs extensive data on usage patterns, diverse design examples, and precise definitions of concepts like "productive". It also faces challenges in understanding subjective ideas. However, there are thoughts that AI still requires refinement to take on a more prominent role in office design, alongside human evaluation. Do you think it’ll work? An interesting article on AI-driven office design. The convergence of technology and design is reshaping our workspaces in ways we could only imagine, and this piece sheds light on how AI is leading this transformative journey. In a world where the return-to-office movement is reshaping our workspace requirements, the use of AI to inform office design couldn't be timelier. Architects and real estate visionaries are harnessing AI's power to craft spaces that align with modern work dynamics. The underlying principle is simple yet impactful - creating environments that foster collaboration and ultimately boost performance, thereby encouraging employees to wholeheartedly embrace the office space. But, a balance is required of human expertise and AI innovation. While AI can expedite the concept phase, architects remind us that design is a blend of thoughtful human input and AI's agility. Ever wondered if your office space could be as user-friendly as your favorite app? Imagine walking into an office that feels like a cozy café, where creativity flows as freely as the coffee. That's the power of applying UX principles to designing office environments—it goes beyond fancy furniture or trendy décor; it's about creating spaces that empower and inspire. Why invest in UX for office design? Much like a well-designed app streamlines your tasks and enhances enjoyment, a thoughtfully planned office can lift productivity, foster collaboration, and boost job satisfaction. Here's how we can harness UX to transform our workspaces: 1️⃣ Clear Navigation Equals Efficient Layouts Consider the intuitive layout of your go-to app. An office designed with clear pathways and well-defined areas can minimize confusion and save time, making daily tasks flow more smoothly. 2️⃣ Responsive Design for Dynamic Workspaces Responsive web design offers optimal viewing across different devices. Similarly, an office with modular furniture and movable partitions can quickly adapt to various team needs, reflecting the flexibility of a well-designed website. 3️⃣ User-Centric Design Enhances Personalization Just like digital UX where customization boosts engagement, in an office, personalized settings like adjustable lighting and ergonomic setups can significantly enhance comfort and concentration. 4️⃣ Embrace Minimalism to Reduce Clutter A clean digital interface reduces user frustration and improves functionality. Likewise, a minimalist office design with clever storage solutions can help keep the work environment clear and focused. 5️⃣ Consistent Design Language Builds Familiarity In apps, consistent use of icons and colors aids usability and strengthens brand identity. In an office, maintaining a cohesive aesthetic can make the space more navigable and visually pleasing. 6️⃣ Prioritize Accessibility Accessibility is crucial in digital products and should be equally prioritized in physical spaces. This includes accessible entrances, adaptable furniture, and inclusive technology. Now think about the most user-friendly app you use—what makes it stand out? Imagine incorporating such features into your office. What's one change you'd make today? Let's revolutionize our work environments by mirroring top UX practices to foster places where creativity and productivity thrive. #UXdesign #workplaceInnovation #employeeExperience #productivity
