Exciting news! The PyroCO2 project, a European Union-funded R&D project aimed at developing climate-positive acetone from industrial CO2 and green H2, is underway with around 20 partners involved. The project covers various subjects along the value chain, from R&D to sustainability criteria. It's great (and brings optimism) to see industries working together to develop "lower carbon footprint molecules" and prepare for the future. As part of this event, Axens was invited to introduce their DMX™ CO2 capture process, developed by IFP Energies nouvelles and its Successful demonstration in Dunkirk within the framework of European H2020 3D project involving 11 partners (ArcelorMittal and TotalEnergies). The 3D pilot unit has demonstrated several key aspects of the DMX™ technology, such as process operability, good solvent stability (no degradation observed), low energy consumption, and purity of the captured CO2 for a wide range of CO2 concentrations. Ready to deploy industrially and participate in the decarbonization of the industry! #Horizon2020 #CarbonCapture #CCUS Thanks to AXELERA for inviting Axens and GUERNALEC Nadege for the support https://lnkd.in/eEjqpeUr
An interesting project - congratulations!
Congratulations to Yvon and the Axens Team!
