It's key to us at Arc that we are a business that is a force for good within society. It is just as important to us that we create value for our people and the planet as well as making profit. This is a formal commitment we have enshrined in our articles of association as a company. 2022-23 was a year of progress on this front with our latest Impact Report including the following highlights: 63% of our work was paid at living wage rates, a 19% increase on 2022. 75% of our team members reported they were very happy working for Arc. Our total carbon footprint was 118 tonnes of CO2 equivalent-a decrease of 43% vs 2022. These emissions were offset through a UN accredited scheme making us fully carbon neutral for the reporting year in question. 71% of our senior leaders are Women. 20% of our employees are black, Asian, mixed race or an ethnic minority vs an industry average of 5%. 89% of our team members agree Arc provides equal opportunities. We achieved an initial B-Corp assessment score of 70 points leaving us well placed to achieve the 80 point threshold in the next few years. We held regular diversity brekky clubs throughout the year on topics such as Ramadan, women’s equality and invisible disabilities. 7000 unique views of our short documentary “Used to it” which discussed the experiences of racism within the hospitality sector of five of our black team members. 294 of our team members made pledges to get involved in climate action. 935 team members engaged in our leave no trace campaign at UK festival sites.
