Jun Cadampog, 2GO Sea Solutions Sales Manager in Cebu is the lone 35-year awardee at the 2GO Layag Awards, the recognition ceremony for dedication and commitment of our loyal #one2GO teammates. Speaking to fellow awardees at the ceremony in Cebu, Jun drew from his own experience, working in different roles and through changing times. He shares the secrets to his success, summarized in four points: No. 1. Loyalty to the job. "My loyalty is always in what I do and what I can do for the company to make it better." No. 2. Professionalism. "The key to quality and efficiency. Your competence, your skill, your expertise, your mastery, your capability." No. 3. Respect to the position. It is inevitable that disagreements with co-workers and even with superiors happen, but "your superior represents authority--a mandate vested in the position the person occupies." No. 4. Value the ideas and opinions of others. "There is always lesser and greater person than you are in the office. Put aside your pride and ego because it can make your office life miserable." Thank you for these nuggets of wisdom, and inspiring us with your journey. Congratulations on this milestone, Jun Cadampog!

Circular Economy in Packaging: Aligning with the EU's Sustainability Push As a leading packaging material producer, we understand the importance of aligning our operations with the EU's circular economy goals. While there's no direct mandate for MES or MOM systems, EU regulations like the Public Procurement Directive and the Circular Economy Action Plan incentivize sustainable practices. Siemens Opcenter MES/MOM solutions can be a game-changer in this regard. By optimizing production processes, minimizing waste, and facilitating resource efficiency, Opcenter empowers us to: Demonstrate our commitment to sustainability in bids for public contracts. Reduce our environmental footprint and comply with upcoming regulations. Contribute to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on responsible consumption and production. Investing in MES/MOM systems isn't just about regulations - it's about embracing a sustainable future for our industry. #CircularEconomy #SustainablePackaging #SiemensOpcenter

🤗 Say hello to one of our employees, Rui Peixoto! 🤗 Rui Peixoto is working as a System Developer at one of our business units, Solutions Development. He is originally from Portugal and came to Denmark to work for Autorola. We interviewed him recently on how it is to work at Autorola and what he enjoys doing in his spare time. Why did you apply for a job at Autorola? I wanted to have an experience abroad and the possibility of coming to Denmark started to grow on me. Upon discovering the job opening at Autorola, I felt it was an ideal fit. The fact that Autorola is a large international company was a significant factor in my decision to apply. What is the most interesting/ fun thing about working at Autorola? Autorola offers an excellent work-life balance and there are frequent social events that are great for meeting new people. What is a typical working day for you? Every day is a bit different, but I generally begin with a cup of coffee while reviewing emails and plans for the day. Following that, I participate in a stand-up meeting, after which it's time to code. Where can people always find you at the workplace? You can always find me at Autorola's headquarters, specifically within the Solutions Development team on the second floor. What do you do in your spare time? In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing sports (such as tennis, padel and football), listening to music, hanging out with friends and watching movies/ TV shows. Anything else you would like to share/ find relevant? When I was a kid, my dad used to take me to car auctions during summer breaks, now I'm working at a company that conducts car auctions online... It's like merging my father's passion with my own for technology. #employeeprofile #Autorola #fleetmanagementsoftware #employerbranding #softwaredeveloper #systemdeveloper #automotiveindustry #softwaredevelopment

At the beginning of January, I was in Sweden to visit the Saint-Gobain Ecophon AB teams in Hyllinge but also the Saint-Gobain Sweden AB, Isover ones in Billesholm. Highly motivated and committed teams with in-depth expertise and an attractive portfolio of products and solutions. More than that, teams who are reinventing and reorganizing, and who are carrying out a new transformation program, ELEVATE, launched in our Nordic (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland) and Baltic countries. The aim of ELEVATE is to strengthen customer orientation, to optimize industrial set-up and promote the full Saint-Gobain portfolio. In concrete terms, this means: ➡️ More networking between countries at operational level to leverage each other's capabilities and pool their resources to address key industry challenges (efficiency, capacity, logistics and sustainability). ➡️ Creating value for our customers with more relevant, innovative, and competitive solutions, and more time for the various market channels. In short, a program designed to ELEVATE our customers, our employees, and our company.

When did we Germans become such pussys, collectively? From a recent project: let’s launch this new service in Germany. German Head of Sales: no, we can’t, we have these and those problems with our dealers and can’t risk to annoy them more. Fallback: let’s launch in Netherlands. Dutch Head of Sales: yeah, we have the same problems as the Germans, but it’s a fantastic opportunity to go to market together and learn something that will benefit everybody, also our dealers! 🤯 How can the same situation be perceived so differently? When did we Germans - collectively - decide to become pussys and never risk anything anymore? And how can we break this vicious cycle? How can we excite people for change, for risk-taking and ultimately for an even better future?
