Recently, @OCwaterdistrict hosted two visiting experts from Japan with a background in water treatment technology and research, and YLWD's PFAS water treatment plant was a highlighted stop during their visit! 💧 🙌 Our guests learned from YLWD's expert staff and how we daily treat PFAS out of our water through our ion exchange, J. Wayne Miller, Ph.D. Water Treatment Plant, the largest of its kind in the nation. Last week, YLWD hosted a tour of our J. Wayne Miller, Ph.D. Water Treatment Plant for the Division of Drinking Water and the Orange County Water District. Attendees learned all about YLWD and went on a guided tour of the largest Ion Exchange PFAS Water Treatment Plant in the nation – capable of treating up to 25 million gallons of water per day! 👏💧 We appreciate our partnership with Orange County Water District for selecting #YLWD as one of the tour destinations for the DDW group!🤝
