Joe Dyer's post, below, celebrating the great team at DISHER shows how important appreciation really is. We often talk about recognition, or commending an employee on a job well done, as essential for employee satisfaction, engagement and productivity. However, appreciation is about recognizing the qualities of the person rather than the quality of the job, which is something far more meaningful, and durable. #appreciationday #recognition #companyculture #employeeengagement #productivity #employeesatisfaction
Today is Employee Appreciation Day, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to every member of our team! We greatly value the diverse skill sets and creative energy that each person contributes at DISHER. We take pride in seeing everyone's dedicated efforts not only in serving our customers but also in supporting their coworkers and community.

Today is National Employee Appreciation Day. While it is always great to have a focus on a specific area on any given day, appreciating your employees and peers needs to happen everyday. Showing that you appreciate your employee, peer or team member can be as simple as: 1. Intentionally saying ‘thank you’ in person 2. Reflect on your collective accomplishments and highlight each 3. Publicly thank employees through internal channels 4. Provide free food or snacks 5. Create a space where they can get away from work and take a break. Take the time, today (and everyday) to appreciate the people you work with, and watch how amazing your team flourishes and work ethic increases.

Today is Employee Appreciation Day and we want to say a huge thank you to all our employees at MGA and Two Tails Productions. ◾ Thank you for being a creative powerhouse and for delivering exceptional work for our clients. ◾Thank you for working cross-departmentally on projects, providing support, and finding efficiencies where possible. ◾Thank you for fostering a learning environment, working in ways that we can all learn from and each leading by example. ◾Thank you for supporting each other when needed, in and outside of work. ◾Thank you for always bringing your best selves to work, despite any stressors (big or small!). ◾Thank you for going above and beyond for our clients, and for each other. ◾Thank you for providing a new perspective on things and for helping each other to think outside of the box. Every member of the team delivers on the above, day in, day out. And as individuals, we’re great. But as a team, we’re a force to be reckoned with. We’re unstoppable. Happy Employee Appreciation Day! 😊 #employeeappreciationday #employeerecognition #thankyou

Appreciation Day is a special occasion to celebrate the hard work and dedication of employees. It's like a warm ray of sunshine on a cold winter day, illuminating the path ahead and warming our hearts. Just as a flower blooms with care and nourishment, employees blossom when they feel valued and appreciated. Employee appreciation is not just about handing out bonuses or gifts. It's about acknowledging the effort and contribution of each individual, and making them feel like they are part of a family. It's about recognizing the small victories and the challenges overcome, and showing gratitude for the unique skills and talents each employee brings to the table. Appreciation Day is a reminder that every employee is a vital cog in the wheel of success. It's a day to reflect on the journey we've taken together, and to look forward to the brighter future ahead. Let's cherish this day, and make it a regular occurrence, because every day should be a day of appreciation for our dedicated employees.

Happy Employee Appreciation Day!🧡 It is vital to value our employees for our own welling, the employees’ well-being, the systemic well-being of their families & for the community in which the company serves. All of these layers of health systematically improve the holistic wellbeing of a work environment & the company at large. When I was young, my Dad was a regional director & he taught me that you treat everyone with respect & kindness whether they are working part-time as a janitor or are the CEO. He highlighted their value as a human being does not waver regardless of their title or role in the corporation. He went on to share that if he was unkind to an employee, that action has a ripple effect where that person could go home after work feeling defeated & frustrated & take it out on their family or emotionally retreat from family due to distress. He said when one is kind, respectful & appreciative that ripple effect impacts in a positive way creating healthier & happier families & communities. What we say & do does not just directly impact the immediate person, it continues to impact our world. As a leader, I have been an executive director before & championing my team’s unique & wonderful strengths while supporting areas of growth with encouraging guidance made all the difference for them to truly shine & that positive ripple continues into the lives of our patients, families & community. As human beings, we become what we believe we are. As a leader, it is our privilege & duty to create a foundation from which those we lead are not just surviving, they are thriving🌟

Today is National Employee Appreciation Day! Don’t worry - you don’t have to rush out and start scooping up gifts. The best ways to show appreciation are free: ⭐ Get to know your employees on a personal level during one-on-one meetings. Ask them about their families, hobbies, and lives outside of work. ⭐ Connect with them on a shared interest. Do you both love fly fishing? Set aside time to talk about your favorite trips. ⭐ Ask them about their professional goals, and offer ways to help them achieve those goals. Remember, it’s about using the Platinum Rule here, not the Golden Rule. (For a quick refresher: The Platinum Rule says to treat others the way THEY want to be treated. The Golden Rule says to treat others the way YOU want to be treated. See the difference?) What is the best way you have found to show your employees appreciation? #EmployeeAppreciation #LeadershipStrategies #GTNCoach
