Amidst the celebrations, barbecues, and outings, let's take a moment to honor and salute the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Their courage ensures that we, and future generations, can live in peace. As the three pillars at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier remind us: victory, valor, and peace.
I enjoy the inclusiveness of YesCare to veterans. Like many, a family member in every generation has served in the military since immigrating to the US in 1905. Two that I am aware of perished in the line of duty during WWII.
THIS IS LAST HOPE FOR GAZA
In the name of humanity to whosoever this post reaches should sent this post to P.M. and President of his country and also to news papers and TV's.
After thorough analysis I realised that there are two basic and fundamental structural defects in the constitution of UN which are
1. Veto Power System for the permanent members of the security council of UN. Since there is a body of all stakeholders in the form of General Assembly wherein all member- countries of the UN are represented there is absolutely no need of Security Council to accept or reject the resolutions passed by General Assembly. As such Security Council should be dissolved forthwith.
2. All member countries of UN are not signatory to the Rome statute consequently some countries are not under the International Criminal Court (ICC) whereas all the member countries have to be under the jurisdiction of ICC so that peace prevails in the world.
. Due to these defects America has made a mockery of the UN as it is reduced to a puppet in the hands of the America. Consequently America with some allies have invaded several Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya and looted these countries then leaving these countries after the loot is complete. Presently America with the help of Israel (both countries are not under the jurisdiction of ICC) is demolishing, cold blooded mass murders, devastation, destruction , displacement, ethenic cleansing, murder especially of children and women and genocide and the whole world including the UN have to be mute spectators of all this and nobody has the powers to question them because of these defects in the constitution of UN.
More than seven decades have passed by but the above-mentioned defects in the constitution of UN were not rectified. Non-rectification of these defects has created a very grave situation as instead of peace maintaining organisation UN became a weapon of blackmailing and means of invading and looting the rich countries by some countries which were having the veto power also besides these countries were not signatory to the Rome statute consequently these countries were not under the jurisdiction of ICC. As the result these countries became law per se and virtually became terrorist countries of the world because they were not answerable to any forum for whatever they do. They invaded and looted several countries so much so they created terrorist groups also. Now the climax of lawlessness has reached in Palestine where total devastation, destruction, cold blooded mass murders, genocide, ethenic cleansing, kidnapping and rape of innocent and unarmed civilians is being done and the whole world including UN have to be mute spectators because of the basic and fundamental defects in the constitution of UN have not been rectified. This is the highest time these defects are rectified by the General Assembly. Let General Assembly wake up after decades of slumber and rectify the defects as proposed above.

Regardless of your politics, religion, or other values, we must always remember on Veteran’s Day: All gave some, but some gave all… we should never take our liberties (freedoms) for granted! This video is a great reminder…

The closest many will get to understanding the carnage and sacrifice of the D-Day Landings 80 years ago today will be through watching films like Saving Private Ryan or visiting museums.
Over 4000 allied forces lost their lives on 6 June 1944 to help defeat the Nazi ideology 80 years ago, so that today we can enjoy the freedoms we have, and too often take for granted.
It is our duty to protect the freedoms we have and never forget those that laid down their lives in 1944 and throughout two World Wars. It is duty too to also educate our children and future generations to commemorate days like today. Find articles like the one below with facts about D-Day they can read to understand the sacrifices. But most of all we must also say never again to global wars and to dictators no matter what flag they fly and their cause

The memory of the Shoah, concentration camps, extermination centers and other areas of the human tragedy of World War II is being created around the world in many places and by several people. The monthly magazine "Memoria" is meant to be a place to talk about our collective efforts and mission to preserve Memory. Check out the July issue here: https://bit.ly/3qaghbV
This Memorial Day, as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, let's also consider how we can support our veterans who continue to protect us in new ways, especially in the field of cybersecurity.
Veterans bring a unique set of skills to cybersecurity—discipline, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of risk management.
Default action and decisiveness also make them invaluable in incidents response.
They have defended our freedoms on the battlefield, and now many of them are on the front lines of our digital defenses.
Here’s how we can honor their service:
1. Hire Veterans: Actively seek out veterans for cybersecurity roles. Their military experience provides a strong foundation for tackling cyber threats. The Honor Foundation is a great source.
2. Provide Training: Offer specialized training programs to help veterans transit ion into cybersecurity careers. This not only benefits them but also strengthens our security infrastructure.
3. Mentorship Programs: Establish mentorship initiatives that connect veterans with experienced cybersecurity professionals. This helps them navigate the corporate world and develop new skills.
4. Support Networks: Create support networks within organizations to address the unique challenges veterans may face in the civilian workforce.
5. Raise Awareness: Advocate for the importance of cybersecurity and the valuable role veterans play in protecting our digital assets.
Just as they protected our nation, veterans now help safeguard our businesses and personal data. By integrating their skills into cybersecurity, we not only honor their past service but also enhance our security measures.
This Memorial Day, let’s recognize the ongoing contributions of our veterans. They continue to serve and protect, ensuring our digital world remains secure. By supporting them, we honor their legacy and build a safer future for all.
