I am thrilled to announce that our Synchrony Business Leadership Program has been recognized as the number one internship program in the nation by the WayUp & Yello.co Top 100 Internship Programs! This prestigious award celebrates National Intern Day and acknowledges the hard work, dedication, & impact of internship programs across the country. Out of hundreds of applicants, our program rose to the top, & I couldn't be prouder of our program! This incredible achievement reflects the outstanding efforts of our teams over the past summers and this current season. Here are some key reasons why our program stands out: *1. Holistic Leadership Development:* Our BLP internship focuses on creating well-rounded leaders. We equip our interns with essential leadership skills, critical functional foundational knowledge, & emphasize areas like servant leadership, wellness in leadership, and multigenerational leadership. Our mix of classroom learning, experiential learning, & on-the-job training helps interns build a comprehensive leadership toolkit, setting them up for success in their future roles. *2. Unique Community Experience:* We foster a vibrant community within our BLP internship program. With a robust calendar of events both inside & outside of work, our interns excel personally & professionally. Through meetings with our executive leadership team, diversity networks, & peer community interactions, interns gain invaluable insights into our company culture & values. *3. Best-in-Class In-Person and Hybrid Experience:* Our program offers a seamless transition for interns with fully paid, fully furnished housing & transportation to and from our site in Stamford. This allows interns to focus entirely on their experience. Living & working in the same location helps them build strong bonds & a supportive network. *4. Exceptional College-to-Career Transition Support:* We provide top-tier guidance & support for our interns as they transition from college to their careers. Our leaders ensure that BLPs are properly onboarded & assimilated, with opportunities to learn about different areas of the business & work cross-functionally. This comprehensive understanding of our organization prepares them for success in their roles. *5. Wellness Programming:* Our commitment to wellness ensures that BLPs can thrive both personally & professionally. We offer resources for physical, mental, & financial well-being, including access to wellness coaches & clinical psychologists. From our functional area leaders to the assignment leaders who guide our BLPs, & the participants themselves, this program profoundly impacts everyone involved.
