Yara's CEO, Svein Tore Holsether, recently spoke with BBC News about the need for collaboration to decarbonize food production while putting farmers first. 🤝 Our partnership with PepsiCo in Europe proves this is possible. Participating farmers will gain access to Yara's best-in-class crop nutrition products, expert advice, and precision farming digital tools. This will help them boost nutrient use efficiency (NUE), increase yields, and reduce their crops' carbon footprint. 📢 Svein Tore emphasized the critical role governments must play by offering incentives for regenerative agriculture practices that prioritize soil health and NUE. Through these incentives, farmers are empowered to invest in the long-term health of their soil, leading to climate-resilient, nutritious crops and higher yields. Great statement! The picture below is a coffee produced by the coffee grower on the picture using Yara’s fertilizer (renovative agriculture). Farmers need need to be empower and well paid to make better and greener choices. I simply loved the package of putting the farmer on the first page, no brands. A Farmer!!
