5 business-applicable lessons we learned from Yappy’s go-karting Christmas shindig last week... 1.      Understand the landscape you are playing in. Go-karting is NOT the same as bumper cars (despite how some of our team race). 2.      Your differences are your advantage. No-one drives that course the same. The thing that makes you drive “different,” is the thing that is going to get you where you want to be – on the track and in business. 3.      Think different. Find better. Despite racing the same loop over and over again, the key is finding ways to “think different, find better” each lap. Constantly learning, consistently improving. 4.      Focus on what matters. The only place, actively “bumping” the competition gets you, is back in dock, disqualified. Focusing on your own race, your own performance, rather than shifting your attention to the competition at every corner – changes the game. 5.      Building success requires building culture. Taking the time to celebrate the wins, get to know your team in completely new environments and encourage serious fun – is a serious must. #yappygroup #winmorebusiness #teamculture #businesslessons
