In order to make mobility safer for everyone, we also draw on findings from real accidents. That's why we purchased two drones for our accident research around 5 years ago. Over the years, they have served us well, but due to a new EU directive, we can no longer use them for our purposes. At 1 kg, they exceed the new weight limit for free flying over people. This would make it more difficult to analyse accident sites in normal road traffic, which is why we will be using newer and lighter models in the future. And since sustainability is not just a buzzword for us, our drones don't end up in the scrapyard, but we have donated them to the Aero-Club Ingolstadt. There they can still be used to control the airfield or to search for model airplanes. #accident #research #sustainability #responsibility #donation #vaiva #wearevaiva

As I’ve said in the previous post, we help the newly established 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade and its UCAV Company “Nebesna Mara” with the provision of UAVs and other needed gear, that should help them effectively free our land. So, the third fundraising campaign of the (Not) From the Sky initiative contains: 1. 25 kamikaze FPV drones with initiation systems and batteries from the best manufacturer, according to the experience of our brave guys in the Unit. The total cost is UAH 620,000 or $16,500. 2. We received the request that should close the issue of night vision on cars in the entire brigade. 100 infrared cameras with ir-spotlights, each of which costs up to $115 or UAH 4,250 (the exact price will be based on configurations and will be clarified during the implementation of the request). A hundred items is a lot, and our fundraising capabilities have limits. Therefore, we agreed to include 70 ir-cameras in this campaign, with a total cost of approximately UAH 300,000 or $8,000. 3. Taking into account the density of the enemy's Electronic Warfare Systems on the battlefield, it becomes impossible to fly on ordinary Mavics without special antennas. In the previous campaign, we purchased 3 Alientech antennas, but this means only three pilots were covered. They need a few dozen more. At this stage, we add 6 more Alientech antennas to the campaign goals, each for approximately $550 or UAH 21,000 The total cost is approximately UAH 126,000 or $3,360. (approximately, because they should be ordered from China, and the price is affected by the way of payment, exchange rate, customs clearance, delivery, etc.) 4. Also, there will definitely be costs for the repair and equipment with the initiation systems of previously purchased drones. Therefore, we set the goal of this collection at UAH 1,100,000 or $30,000. Thanks to the donations to the previous campaign, and the second contribution of $5,000 from AltexSoft and Alex Medovoi from the $16,000 allocated for the company's birthday last month, we currently have approximately UAH 513,000 or $13,900, which is 46% of a needed amount. Join in! Please repost and donate! Organize fundraising in your circles of friends: 10 of your fundraising campaigns for 10 cameras each, and all drivers in the brigade will drive much safer. The war continues. Only supporting our army we have a chance to kick occupiers out of our land. So be strong, donate, and believe in Victory! 💛💙 PS: In the photo, you see our guys during the FPV drones training a couple of months ago.
