CWP introduces new catalogues of solutions. The Catalan Water Partnership is a first level cluster that joins innovative companies and the best knowledge centres for sustainable water management. Catalonia is placed in the Western Mediterranean basin and, thus, water management is a concern for its inhabitants and public authorities. This is why the CWP got accredited as Cluster Management Excellence Gold Label and is a key member of the Water Europe network. Hydroo is a member of the cluster and proud to actively collaborate with it. Recently, the CWP has created a Catalogue of Digital Solutions to support the general use of digital technologies in the integral water cycle management. Additionally, a new Catalogue of solutions and services to fight the recurrent Mediterranean drought conditions appeared. Hydroo water technologies contribute to spread the high-end water solutions provided by our partner companies according to the main strategic axis of the CWP: shared value and cooperation, R&D&I, circular economy, industry 4.0, internationalization and business development worldwide. #hydroo #pumpingsolutions

Our recent Thailand-Australia Water Dialogue, along with the Thailand Office of National Water Resources (ONWR) and the Australian Embassy Bangkok, provided an opportunity to discuss upcoming projects between the two countries.  Key outcomes from the meeting include: 🔹First Meeting and New Projects Approval: The dialogue marked the first meeting of the Thailand-Australia Joint Steering Committee, leading to approvals to cooperate on several upcoming water management projects. 🔹Strengthened International relations: The event bolstered partnerships between Thailand and Australia in the water sector, fostering future collaborations and promoting inclusive and climate-sensitive water resources management approaches. 🔹Knowledge Exchange: High-level participation from the Australian Embassy and the ONWR enriched insights into successful water resource management collaboration, benefitting both nations. 🔹Healthy Participation: Approximately 75 participants from Thai government agencies and Australian representatives engaged in vibrant discussions. This dialogue continues our cooperative approach to water management, securing a sustainable future for both nations. We thank all participants, organisers, and stakeholders for their contributions to the discussions, and look forward to continuing to work together on these important issues.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan emphasized the government's commitment to realizing integrated and sustainable water management in Indonesia promptly.   In a statement from his ministry received here on Wednesday, Pandjaitan underscored the dire need for collaboration between the government and various parties to maintain the sustainability of water resources in Indonesia.   Pandjaitan, who concurrently serves as chairman of the National Water Resources Council, called on members of the council to participate in providing concrete solutions at the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) that will be held in Bali on May 18-25, 2024.   During the General Assembly of the World Water Council (WWC) in Senegal in 2022, Indonesia was chosen to host the 10th WWF, themed "Water for Shared Prosperity."   The WWF is an international meeting of stakeholders in the water resources sector, such as governments, parliaments, political leaders, multilateral institutions, politicians, academicians, civil society, and business players, among others.   The last mission is coordinating and implementing various multi-party efforts to create a declaration or initiative on global water issues.   Through the forum, the Indonesian government is also proposing the establishment of World Lake Day to maintain the sustainability of water resources.   #WorldLakeDay #WaterConservation #WaterResources #WaterSustainability   This content is jointly prepared by ripple2wave and ZWEEC Analytics Pte Ltd. Our #soswater project and coordinator Taher Kahil as well as project and communication managers Eutema research services were featured in the austrian Trend magazine as part of an article highlighting EU-funded projects in Austria! 👏 The article sheds light on the substantial commitment of the EU to research through the #HorizonEurope program, spotlighting various successful projects, as our #soswater. Yesterday marked ‘poster day’ at the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). Having participated in a similar session two years ago, I was reminded of how much strain presenting can put on your voice! Nonetheless, it was an engaging experience to share the project’s highlights, challenges, and achievements with fellow attendees. In today’s context, it’s crucial not only to showcase novel innovations but also to celebrate the practical application of good engineering practices. For instance, at La Mesa WTP 1, our team successfully implemented a solar solution over the treatment works, achieving near energy neutrality during daylight hours and significantly reducing whole life carbon emissions; I think this solution, whilst simple, is exactly the sort of linked up thinking we’ve got to do on every job. This then nicely complements the reuse of the main structural assets effectively. I also had the pleasure of hosting Robin Salenga II FCCP MPM FAAPM CE ME CLSSYB CIPM IOPM LEED SO3 from Maynilad (co-author/client) during the event. Thanks also to Mervick Reyes Salamat for her efforts in preparing the initial abstract and helping with the submission and the rest of the team who delivered the project.
