News Release 📢 | Certification of the LEAP-powered Airbus A321XLR by EASA? Done ✅ We are celebrating certification of the #CFMLEAP-powered Airbus #A321XLR by the EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency. Entry into service is expected later this year. “Certification of the CFM-powered A321XLR is an important milestone in providing our operators much greater route scheduling flexibility,” said Gaël Méheust, president and CEO of CFM International. “The engine was always designed with 35,000-lb. thrust capability for longer range, higher max takeoff weight aircraft. As a result, no engine modifications were required, giving operators the added benefit of 100 percent commonality with their existing A320neo family fleets.” #DidYouKnow? ✅ LEAP is the first engine certified on this application ✅ To date, 1️⃣ 1️⃣ airlines and lessors have selected LEAP engines to power more than 1️⃣ 9️⃣ 0️⃣ A321XLR aircraft Read the press release ➡ https://lnkd.in/eAPDZ6Vj GE Aerospace | Safran - Propulsion | Airbus Aircraft

🔺 The Gulfstream Aerospace G700 has received 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐅𝐀𝐀) type certification, paving the way for customer deliveries. The G700’s FAA certification also confirmed two new performance improvements, giving customers increased flexibility and airport availability: a balanced field length takeoff distance of 5,995 feet/1,827 meters and a landing distance of 3,150 ft/960 m (standard ISA day, sea level), both shorter than originally anticipated. 🔺 In September 2023, Gulfstream announced G700 performance enhancements for range, speed and cabin altitude. The aircraft’s range increased to 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 kilometers at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90, gaining 250 nm/463 km at both speeds over original projections. The G700’s maximum operating speed increased from Mach 0.925 to Mach 0.935, making it the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet. 👉 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 : https://swll.to/lUSbu #businessaviation #aviationworld #businessjets #aeronautical #aeronautique #aeroworld #aero #aeronautics #Aircraft #privatejet #Gulfstream

According to Hagerty Jet Group, an aircraft broker specialising in Gulfstream Aerospace jets, the market for preowned business jets will become softer as Gulfstream G700 deliveries begin, “The Gulfstream market has been anticipating this certification for more than a year…the market will feel an impact from so many aircraft coming for sale because of the G700 deliveries, regardless of the brand.” Hagerty also noted that the supply of preowned Gulfstreams was at “near historic high levels” in the first quarter. It then proceeds to explain that preowned transactions were down 56% quarter-over-quarter. Year-over-year depreciation of in-production Gulfstreams ranged between 8% and 16%. Although nearly four dozen completed G700s are ready to be delivered, Hagerty Jet Group notes that “deliveries will be staggered by the availability to train crews and obtain foreign certifications…EASA certification is still pending and likely a few months away.” Who else is excited to see the G700 in action across the globe?

ex General manager of Aeroflot in France, 30 years of experience in ground handling, commercial, operational, planning, implementing and auditing experiences for the profit of your GH or Airline company .
This is interesting forecast shared by authorities with mass media. So, the airline "Aurora" plans to purchase 63 aircraft by 2030. This includes 33 TVRS-44 "Ladoga" planes and 10 MS-21 planes, with additional models under discussion "Osvet" (LMS-192), and "Baikal" (LMS-901). The authorities remain optimistic. However, by 2023, aircraft production had decreased by 2.5 times, and in 2024 it may be at its lowest level for passed 20 years. By 2030, Russia plans to produce over 1000 civil aircrafts. Specifically, the plan includes the delivery of 990 aircraft including various models such as SSJ-NEW, MS-21, Il-114, Tu-214, Il-96, TVRS-44 "Ladoga," "Osvet" (LMS-192), and "Baikal" (LMS-901) The parent company of "Aurora" - "Aeroflot" plans to purchase 300 Russian-made aircraft by 2030. These acquisitions include models such as the MS-21, Superjet 100, and Tu-214. But the delivery timelines for the aircraft are constantly being "pushed to the right," and Aeroflot plans to abandon the Tu-214 entirely due to the presence of a third crew member, the flight engineer.

It was reported earlier this week that China-based MRO firm Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (GAMECO) had started work on the first outsourced Airbus A380 12-year heavy maintenance check for Emirates. This event involves the most intensive structural inspections and component replacement work the aircraft will undergo during its lifetime. The A380 has come back into favour with a select group of carriers post-Covid (Cirium lists 165 in-service aircraft with 10 operators) which prompted the question, how many A380s have already undergone 12-year checks and how many will do so during the next three years? Cirium's Ground Events Analytics identifies five events since late-2023 (two each for Singapore Airlines and Lufhansa, in addition to Emirates) and projects a further 30 will occur by the second half of 2027. My chart assumes a typical ground duration of 50 days for future events, but precise timings, MRO providers and locations will be recorded as these aircraft pass through the hangars. Of the 35 aircraft included in my chart, 23 are Engine Alliance GP7200-equipped while the balance are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 900s. I have also indicated the actual age each aircraft was – or is expected to be – at the start of its check. The data suggests there will be considerable pressure on hangar space and the associated supply chain from late-2025 through 2026, barring unforeseen events that could again reduce demand for such a high-capacity aircraft. #aerospace #mro #A380
