We opened applications for Xccelerate24 last week, with the theme 'reimagining the customer and employee experience with AI'.
While it may seem like Gen AI is everywhere right now – and it is – we’re still at the foot of the mountain (consider… Meta, Google and Apple have DOUBLED their capex plans in 2024, as they race to the $1Tr cluster – good read below👇).
For corporates – there are clear near-term opportunities in how to serve customers and help employee productivity (McKinsey - $200-340bn value pa for banking industry alone – again, below👇).
So, if you know any early-stage founders working in data and AI that see strategic partnership with a corporate as a path to growth, please encourage them to apply, or contact @Fiona Aaron for more info. We’re aiming to invest $250,000 (via a SAFE) into at least one venture at the end of the program.
Last year, I was blown away by the work applicants were doing in the climate tech space and it has been great watching Hamish Munro and the team at Pairtree Intelligence forge a strategic partnership with @Commonwealth Bank off the back of their Xccelerate23 win, as well as other ventures in that program find pathways into the bank (eg, Vyro driving ‘CommBank Garage’).

Applications for Xccelerate24 are now open – and we want to hear from teams who are reimagining the customer and employee experience with data and AI 🤖
Xccelerate is our annual program helping early-stage founders explore the pathways to corporate partnership. It lifts the lid on what it takes to partner with a large corporate, like Commonwealth Bank, and enables teams to stress-test whether growing with the support of a strategic partner is right for them.
Participants will have the chance to form deep connections with experts from x15 and CommBank, and bounce ideas off some of the best in banking.
