Bilingual education not only has popular support in Mozambique for promoting the value of local languages and improving learning outcomes, it also has proven success in the country. Expanding bilingual education, though, is costly. Through the USAID SABER program, we're supporting the government to develop learning materials, train teachers, and assess performance to unleash the transformative power of #bilingualed. https://brnw.ch/21wCa80

So, we were ready to pivot...But we weren't ready for all of it -- Yesterday, we wrapped up a month-long training partnership with the Association for New Canadians LINC School. 🙋♀️ Over 70 students trained 👨💻 More than 30 hours of workshops ✅ We started with the basics of computers and internet AND finished off with an overview of how to protect ourselves from online scams. Going into the partnership, we were aware we had to be flexible and adaptable instructors. From delivering the workshops in Arabic and English to finding interpreters at the last minute to being challenged in the assumptions we hold about how *easy* or *intuitive* using digital tech is. #DigitalUpskilling #SkillsTraining #NewCanadians #ProfessionalDevelopment #DigitalLiteracy #DigitalSkills

Most of this research was done prior to 2019, and I know things are changing in Saudi Arabia, but education policies seem the be the slowest to evolve in most countries. I think they need to have education coordinators who establish ongoing professional development programs and support groups for expat teachers, and also act as intermediaries between management and teachers. My education background in Organizational Management, Political Science (with a focus on Islamic Politics and Culture) and International Education, along with my experience teaching ESL and decades of volunteer work in tutoring and supporting volunteer projects, mostly with women, provides the necessary background to develop and fulfill this type of role. Why Is Saudi Arabia’s EFL Teacher Attrition Rate So High, And What Can Be Done to Stem the Tide of Transient Teachers? Andy Pacino , Faiza Qureshi https://lnkd.in/gCu9zAUW

EDUCATIONAL ENHANCEMENT INITIATIVE: A COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABLE IMPACT THROUGH “PROJECT LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AND FLUENCY 2024” ... 10/05/2024 With an unwavering dedication to enriching the learning environment for both students and educators, and in alignment with the pursuit of Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, I am embarking on a transformative endeavour aimed at revolutionizing teaching methodologies in primary and junior secondary schools across Nigeria. This initiative entails a quasi-experimental project focused on fostering practical and effective approaches to comprehension and vocabulary development. Central to this endeavour is the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, the 4Cs framework, and the thematic underpinnings of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for sustainable living. Indeed, the convergence of these strategies allows for a multifaceted approach to educational advancement, facilitating significant progress on multiple fronts simultaneously. Leveraging the power of the 4Cs—Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity—coupled with innovative Educational Technology solutions, we are poised to achieve unprecedented outcomes. The pilot phase of this ambitious project will engage 30 schools, collaborating with 30 proprietors, and involving approximately 60 teachers alongside over one thousand students aged 4 to 12. Over the course of six weeks, rigorous teacher training sessions will be conducted, followed by the implementation of the outlined strategies in 20 selected schools, which will serve as our control group for comparative analysis. I extend my sincere appreciation to esteemed organizations such as the British Council, the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace UNESCO, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), and AIIDEV Africa for their invaluable contributions humanity. It is through their intellectual prowess and humanitarian ethos that the vision for this data-driven and impact-oriented initiative emerged. Stay tuned for regular updates on this project as we navigate the path toward transforming classrooms and advancing the cause of sustainable quality education. If you are so interested in relocating in this current Nigeria economy, you may have to do some of the following: Look beyond schools that request for WES. I didn't evaluate any of my transcripts rather I focused on schools that accept ONLY unofficialal transcript. There are over 3000 schools in the US, streamline your search toward schools that do not REQUIRE GMAT/GRE. I didn't submit GRE, it was optional As for IELTS, there are many schools that do not REQUIRE OR RECOMMEND it. So focus on such schools. Although it might sound or look slim, but is it doable? Yes, it is! All the best. MIN✅✅✅ 📥[email protected]

🌟 Commitment to Education: A Key to Empowerment for Saudi Girls 🌟 As we continue to witness remarkable strides in education across Saudi Arabia, one fundamental aspect remains critical for maximizing these opportunities: consistent attendance. 📚 Why is this especially important for Saudi girls? Building a Strong Foundation: Regular attendance not only reinforces learning but also ensures that Saudi girls can build a robust foundation in their educational journeys. Each class is a step toward mastering subjects that are crucial for their academic and professional futures. Empowerment Through Education: Education is a powerful tool for empowerment. For Saudi girls, being present in every class means gaining every possible ounce of knowledge and skill that can enable them to be self-reliant, confident, and competitive in the global arena. Setting a Precedent: Each committed student sets a positive example for peers and future generations, reinforcing the importance of education within the community and encouraging a culture of learning and excellence. Maximizing Resources: A lot of resources are invested in education, from teachers' efforts to infrastructural developments. Regular attendance ensures that these resources are utilized to their fullest potential, making education cost-effective and more impactful. Let's continue to support and encourage our young learners, especially girls, to remain steadfast in their educational commitments. The benefits of their dedication extend beyond personal success, contributing to the broader socio-economic development of our nation. 👩🎓 To every Saudi girl, your commitment to education is your stepping stone to the world. Keep attending, keep learning, and keep growing! #EducationForAll #Empowerment #SaudiGirlsEducation #CommitToAttend
