A FOOD FIRST EDITION BOOK 1: NOTHING, EVERYTHING "NUTS is neither zine nor magazine, book nor artifact" So what is it? Pictures. Words. Natural disasters. Masks. Rick Owens. Animal habitats. Faces. Feelings. You know. 418 pages. Only available HERE. https://lnkd.in/esuDyUmC When they’re gone they’re gone. - JEFFERSON HACK: “A black and white fever dream of lo-fi fashion story aesthetics, NUTS is neither zine nor magazine, book nor artifact, it’s more a document or unfolding documentary of free play. I love the feeling of improvisation, of a 90s DIY early Dazed & Confused playfulness.” ALEX NEEDHAM: “Fashion magazines have traditionally sold dreams. The mood of NUTS is anxiety and malaise— the abortive night out, the workout gone wrong, the branch of Footlocker about to get looted. Yet there’s something else deep within it, too: for one, the hope that the 21st-century angst expressed by the anonymous voices haunting these monochrome pages might one day be dispelled.” DEAN KISSICK: “NUTS is a flick-book hypnotic black-and-white phantasmagoric MANIFESTATION: You can simply become whatever you want. Whatever you wish every day. The power of prayer and intention and positive thought. The subject is you. No one reads fashion magazines but this magazine can write you. Now you are here. Where do you want to be?”

My love I sleep, drink, dream, and think about papers, articles, types of papers, tools, data sources, and the entire process. I sincerely love to motivate upcoming youngsters to craft stories, definitely in their niche technical domains. I keep roaming around various institutes, colleges, universities, and research departments doing such hands-on workshops. I need to keep preparing for all my deliveries, and hence I need to keep myself updated too. At the same time, I also admire short films, or these days, advertisements and commercials in the form of pocket films. The message given by them, the theme on which they weave their narration, the actors, the set, and the entire crew create magic. Many times, I feel as if all those short films were made only for me. This is one such video I recently came across. I immediately grabbed it and requested that my participants just look at the beautiful side of the narration, thinking, and actions taken by the lead in this video. This is exactly what is expected of aspiring scholars while narrating their stories in the form of journal papers, especially. At the same time, never go for such a title, as it is not related in any way to the contents. "One video worth a thousand words" is very useful for my workshops. https://lnkd.in/dg2hJ4WM

Unveiling the Truth Behind Ideal Cut Diamonds: Challenging the Lowering Standards in the Industry In the dazzling world of diamonds, the term "Ideal Cut" has long been synonymous with perfection, brilliance, and excellence. However, beneath the glittering facade lies a disturbing trend that has been quietly eroding the true essence of an Ideal Cut diamond. In recent times, the diamond industry has witnessed the emergence of misleading terminologies that classify diamonds not crafted to the highest standards as "Ideal" or "Excellent." It is crucial to shine a light on this issue, demanding transparency and accountability for the sake of ethical practices and consumer trust. Understanding the True Ideal Cut: The concept of an Ideal Cut diamond originated from the groundbreaking research of Tolkowsky in 1919, which outlined the optimal proportions for maximizing a diamond's brilliance and fire. The Ideal Cut is intended to achieve perfect symmetry, precise angles, and exceptional light performance. When a diamond meets these stringent criteria, it exhibits unparalleled sparkle and beauty, making it truly worthy of the "Ideal" designation. The Erosion of Standards: Regrettably, over time, the definition of an Ideal Cut diamond has been diluted, resulting in vague and misleading classifications. Taken advantage of consumer ignorance, promoting diamonds that deviate significantly from the Ideal Cut standards as being "ideal" or "excellent." Such practices not only deceive unsuspecting buyers but also undermine the credibility of the entire diamond industry. The Impact on Consumers: The consequences of lowering the bar for Ideal Cut diamonds extend far beyond the financial aspect. Misinformed consumers who purchase diamonds under the guise of excellence are left disappointed when they fail to witness the expected brilliance andcan lead to erode trust in the diamond market as a whole. The Call for Transparency and Ethical Practices: It is incumbent upon us to demand transparency and uphold the integrity of the diamond industry. This begins with educating ourselves about the true parameters of an Ideal Cut diamond and holding jewelers accountable for their claims. Instead of succumbing to market pressures and lowering the standard to accommodate poorly cut diamonds, we must insist on upholding the tradition of excellence that the Ideal Cut especially the diamonds grading laboratories that allow for none qualified diamonds to be called “Exelent” or “Ideal”. Why everyone is silence, because you can polish a diamond for a higher weight recovery by manipulating the cut grade software algorithm and wrongly qualify a lower cut grade to be called exelence by the grading Ideal Cut diamond remains as brilliant as ever – a symbol of true beauty, craftsmanship, and integrity. #idealcutdiamonds #diamonds #exelence #shimansky #integrity

Yair Shimansky Folloe the money. The fact that the LGD category also uses Rapaport pricing and the totally illogical step pricing means that there are a lot of badly polished stones. LGD rough is cheap but even so there is a financial incentive to have stones come in at 2.0 or 2.01. The 4c is totally inadequate. 8xGCAL is one of the few certificates that does a decent job in a single certificate. Sarine bought GCAL basically for a song and a dance(to their credit) and I am going they can now give IGI and GIA a run of the money. Few diamond manufacturers want to end this gold mine to be a be able to sell poorly cut stones. EXEXEX means nothing. We also need cut.grading for fancy cut diamonds and fancy colour LGD.
