🌡️ It was the hottest June on record for the globe and the 13th month in a row to set a monthly temperature record. 🌍 These latest figures highlight that we will be exceeding the 1.5°C level on a temporary basis with increasing frequency. However, it is important to stress that temporary breaches do not mean the 1.5 °C goal is permanently lost because this refers to long-term warming over at least two decades. ⚠️We need urgent and concerted #ClimateAction to slash greenhouse gas emissions and flatten the curve. What we have seen in the past 12 months is a foretaste of the future. 📹 United Nations News

Why does NOAA, IPCC and WMO ignore the impact of the Tonga eruption data and continue to imply that the spike of warming is caused by CO2? Why? The only spike is the water vapour (strongest greenhouse gas) from the Tonga eruption.

Love how it's now " long-term warming over at least two decades." for the mythical 1.5C. All we have heard for years is don't break 1.5, but now let's qualify that. How can anyone take this seriously. News flash - the temperature has already risen 1.5C. It won't go down if you stop emitting CO2 (according to all the models). The ocean is not boiling. There is no crisis. There is no emergency.

WMO - this is disinformation. There have been multiple locations around the world that have consistently measured temperature anomalies below the 40 year average for the month of June.

Let’s face it. 15 years ago the Anthropocene Working Group within the geoscience community was formed to settle the evidence for establishing a new Geological Epoch - Anthropocene - and end Holocene that has been in place for 11,700 years. They brought up the claim several times to IUGS for voting. They first tried to set a starting year to 1850. They failed. Later they tried with 1950. They failed. They tried to find lakes and taking samples in sediments to prove their theories. They failed. The IUGS suggested to change the claim to an Event under Holocene. It failed to. The final vote came a few month ago.  There is no Anthropocene. Period. That does not mean there is no climate change. Or that humans are not an active part in the coal cycle. But it conclude that Holocene still rules - and will be the baseline for climate change probably for another thousands of years.

My daily dose of misinformation and propaganda. What a shame that the WMO stoops to this self serving level.

These alarming statistics clearly show that climate change is an immediate threat. We must take urgent action to secure our future. Every small effort counts – let’s work together towards a sustainable world! 🌍💚

In the meantime, the UK and northern Italy have experienced their coldest May and June in decades, yet this isn't being reported anywhere.
