Just like a content writer and a script writer are two completely different profiles, similarly Graphic designers and Video editors are two completely different jobs with different skill sets. It has now become a common trend in India to appoint people who are capable of working on both the platforms with their respective softwares. This trend has led to candidates forcefully learning both and achieving excellence in none. With the increasing trend of social media marketing, people are now opting to learn both in order to secure a job to the least. The demand is slowly going higher for this job profile which comes with the heading of 'Required graphics designer' or 'Video editors' and then in the job description we see, that the person should be efficient in Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.. This industry should understand that letting one person do everything for you, is only forcing the person, to meet deadlines other than letting him give his creative best in his particular field. This practice needs to stop in order to achieve the best and rather than just existing or surviving, and this goes for all the companies and the candidates as well.
