In our recent article, 'Empowering Change: Strategies for Fostering Inclusivity in Impact Investing', we proposed that a crucial element of senior leaders taking the reins on JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) practices is committing to inclusive leadership. Examples include: 👉 Engage Openly: Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion through your own actions and behaviour by actively engaging in conversations with your team. 👉 Form an Inclusive Leadership Team: If appropriate, create a dedicated team of leaders responsible for driving diversity and inclusion initiatives. While everyone in the organisation has a role to play in upholding inclusivity, their role is to ensure that these principles are properly integrated into all aspects of the organisation. 👉 Publicly Communicate Commitment: Clearly and honestly communicate the organisation’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in public statements, interviews, and articles. Use your platform to advocate for these values and hold yourself accountable for following through. 💡 What would you add? Read the full piece: https://lnkd.in/en7vK7hB

Picking just 3 might be a challenge! 📆 In May, we hosted a really great webinar featuring Dr Grace Lordan on the #FutureofWork and the significance of Inclusive Leadership, and last week, we continued our journey with training from Michael Lassman at the Irish Centre for Diversity. 🌐In all areas of work, Inclusive Leadership and awareness of unconscious bias are important, but particularly in recruitment. 📚 We are always learning. 🤔 Tell us, which 3 would you choose? #DiversityandInclusion #UnconsciousBias #BetterTogether #InclusiveLeadership #Recruitment
