When you take time to unwind, disconnect then reconnect, you become more efficient, productive and remain motivated about your tasks. You can achieve the goal of maintaining a healthy work-life balance by planning your daily activities rather than leaving them to chance. Remember to take short breaks during the day. Set blocks of time for different tasks and make it a goal to end work at a certain time.

How do you create a good work/life balance? There can be many different answers to this question, depending on who you ask. We are all unique individuals with different needs when it comes to establishing a healthy balance between our work and personal lives. One thing that I find important is the ability to structure how and when I work. I am grateful that at MSD, we have the option to have a flexible work life, such as working non-traditional hours or remotely if needed. This provides a great sense of freedom and helps protect our mental well-being. I personally know the significance of finding a balance between my work and personal life, and how they influence each other. In this month, as we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, I hope it serves as a reminder for all of us about the importance of maintaining a healthy work/life balance and how we can collectively create the best conditions in the workplace to support it. By doing so, we can enhance our mental well-being. #MSDProud

Understand that it’s not necessary that you’ll always work on something you love and it’s also not necessary that you’ll always be happy if you work on something you love. 3. Set boundaries and work hours for yourself and value your time for money(time value of money) 4. Set goals and priorities and always stick to them. 5. Prioritise yourself first. Mental health, physical health, your people etc. 6. Take a break everyday from the thought of work and don’t let work being the only thing you do towards making a life. You can go on..
