Amplifire was happy to be part of American Clean Power Association (ACP)'s #ACPSiting24. Over and over we heard the same thing when it comes to public affairs and community engagement: a political campaign mindset is required to earn the community support that's needed to get projects permitted. It's clear that developers face the same core issues that we've dealt with in politics. Here are some of the things that stuck out to us as nearly identical to the political arena: -Campaigning on a set timeline that ends with a binary outcome -Storytelling through earned media, owned media, and paid media -Combatting mis- and dis-information -Identifying and organizing your supporters using a variety of tactics -Mapping out stakeholders and key decision makers -Leading supporters through the funnel of engagement

Energy storage is one of the keys for the efficiency of renewables and the acceleration of the energy transition. The latest R&D Session by EDP NEW gave the stage to Clara Gouveia, from INESC TEC, António de Sousa, from EDP NEW, and Shadi Mirshashemi, from Sunergy, who highlighted the main technologies that are already being used, as well as some of the research and innovations being tested. The “Future of Energy Storage”, the theme for the session, is also the future of the energy sector as a whole, as it is a way of ensuring availability, integration and grid stability.
