As someone who has experienced the very best of corporate benefits packages 📦 at PwC UK (hello, amazing shared parental leave, private medical, car and bike scheme, and the fave - office fruit baskets 🍌), but also had my share of personal experiences and subsequent needs (panic attacks, burnout etc), it’s been interesting as a founder to have the opportunity to build our own EVP (employee value prop) here at Matchable. Some of my current faves are: 🧠 Mental health and therapy 👉 Spill 🏥 Medical 👉 Mo.health  💰 Financial advice 👉 Bippit®  👩🏫 Coaching 👉 More Happi 🧘🏻♀️Wellness Allowances 👉 Juno: flexible benefits, limitless possibilities® 👨🎓Personal and professional dvpt 👉 Learnerbly  🛖 Digital detox and reset 👉 Unplugged 🐶 Flexible working ofc 👉 companies that do this really well on Flexa I realised so much of our EVP is shaped by mine and the team’s own experiences as individuals and what we feel is important. 🤓 Interestingly, a recent Oxford Uni study noted that many of the benefits offered in the modern workplace look after individual needs (ie my mental health, my finances, a massage for moi!), without necessarily bringing employees closer together 🤨 and actually missed out on the opportunity for the company to build connection and culture internally! 😏 That’s where volunteering comes in - it’s the perfect way to amplify and tie all of the benefits together and maximise the impact of an amazing EVP… and it’s the ONLY benefit that supports your team on an individual AND company, team and culture level too - by living company values and creating team and community through purpose! 🥳 (Yeah I’m biased but super smart research guy from Oxford said it too🥸) So yes, ofc our EVP includes 💚 unlimited volunteering through Matchable Volunteering too!! 🙌 What’s in your dream package?
