Bringing Military Standards to Health & Safety Training in the Workplace. Delivered by Military Veterans
Thoughts? Had some new Manual handling hand out cards made up Given to every student who attends a course to help remind them of Elite Force Safety Manual Handling techniques How much information do those attending a course need to be given in written format? I was shown a book the other day by someone who attended an all day Manual Handling course (Ours are 3 hours) that was 30 pages The person works in an office and does very little Handling if any (They do a self assessment and training for DSE as well) I asked her "What have you done with the book since the course 2 years ago?" "Nothing, bottom of my drawer since the course" was her answer At Elite Force Safety, we have the thought about the environment in our mind when creating course handouts and paperwork. Have a great day and stay safe Elite Force Safety bringing military standards to safety training in the workplace #healthawareness #enviornment #recycling #veterans #healthandsafetytraining

Mr 'I will get out a forklift however I want'... is quite a common character we encounter when delivering training. However, we love getting the most challenging characters on the first few courses when rolling out training. Might think that is a pretty dangerous move… It’s not if you are confident the training will be received well. You then have the people who are usually the first to criticise or are hard to please singing your praises to everyone else. “If Dave thought it was good then I’m interested to see why!”= people asking when they can do their training! FOMO. Fear of missing out on Health and Safety Training. You do need to make sure you win them over and it doesn’t have the opposite effect though. So this is why it's important to make the training relevant and interesting for the delegates, something we do pretty well. At Elite Force Safety, we believe in the power of in-person training. Our sessions are led by Military Veterans who bring their unique expertise to the table, providing practical, relevant training that goes beyond ticking boxes. So, if you're tired of generic, eye-roll-inducing training and want to experience something tailored and engaging, get in touch with us at www.eliteforcesafety.com #healthandsafetytraining #workplacetraining #healthandsafety

Anyone else had Fire Marshal training like this? There is actually some good points he makes when doing this drill Most people get up, walk in the direction of the main entrance or exit. In most cases there is a Fire Exit closer Elite Force Safety like to put a spanner in the works here. We put someone on the main stairs or at the main entrance and tell them its blocked. YOU SHOULD SEE THEIR FACES WHEN THEY HAVE TO GO BACK IN THE DIRECTION THEY CAME FROM😮 Then they ask each other "where is the nearest exit" Something they should automatically know Speak to us about #firemarshal training Elite Force Safety bringing Military standards to Health and Safety training in the workplace IAM Productions #healthandsafetytraining #firesafety #veterans #healthandsafety
