Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s Post

Wisconsin has officially been selected as a U.S. Regional Tech Hub, unlocking $49 million to grow the state's personalized medicine and biohealth sector. This designation will allow the state's consortium of 15 public and private partners organized by the Governor Tony Evers Administration through WEDC to increase research, coordination and collaboration, expand lab space, and improve access to capital to start and grow businesses. Over the first 10 years, this designation is projected to create more than 30,000 jobs directly tied to personalized medicine and another 111,000 indirect jobs.
