🔍 Exploring SysML: Unraveling the Sequence Diagram 🔄 In our journey of SysML, today's focus is on the Sequence diagram. It’s role is visualizing the dynamic communication between system elements. It portrays the flow of messages between actors and system components (blocks), or among various parts of a system. This visualization is achieved through lifelines, representing entities interacting with each other over time along the vertical axis. Let’s go back to our drone: A drone consists of many internal components, such as the flight controller, GPS module, camera, battery, and an external entity such as the ground. Those components would be represented by lifelines. The diagram will illustrate the exchange of messages between these internal components and the ground control station. For example, the flight controller might send commands to the motor controllers to adjust the drone's altitude or heading. Meanwhile, the GPS module continuously sends location updates to the flight controller, allowing it to maintain the drone's position. Time will be represented along the vertical axis, showing the chronological order of events during the flight operation. Here, the diagram will highlight dependencies between different actions, such as the flight controller waiting for GPS location updates before adjusting the drone's trajectory. 🔊 As of now, we are finalizing, alongside our collaborator, AEROTOOLS our activities for AI@EDGE Project, which aims to address the challenges of leveraging the concept of reusable, secure, and reliable #artificialIntelligence for #network automation. Some of the project activities required for the development of various infrastructures at 5TONIC's facilities (e.g., Aerotools UAVs), as well as the use of 5TONIC lab's own #5G infrastructure (e.g., 5G backpack). During the development of this project, the participation and involvement of some of the lab's members, such as Ericsson, IMDEA Networks Institute , and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid was required. 🔷 In the video attached to this post, we show the trials taken for this specific use case. #AIntelligence
