Have you ever wondered how we build our transformers and what goes into their construction? Take a behind-the-scenes look into some of the processes of manufacturing of one of the biggest transformers made in Australia. This 350 MVA 330/33/33kV ONAN/ODAF transformer is the last of three units we have built for the Waratah super battery energy project - the largest committed battery project in the southern hemisphere. Given their size, every aspect of the transformers was meticulously engineered, taking into account various electrical, mechanical, thermal, environmental, and logistics factors.
It's fascinating! Great work.

Thanks to Bob Barbara and the Wilson Transformers team for showing a group of Melbourne Water engineers around the Glen Waverley factory. It was fascinating to see the various stages of manufacturing, along with the testing facility and oil analysis lab.
