💡 The idea: Assemble a fully equipped development team tasked with designing and developing a video game that maximised its utilisation of Generative AI tools. Welcome to our R&D initiative 'Project AVA'! 🤖 Some context: As with almost everyone in 2023, our teams were drawn into the intriguing world of Generative AI tools. Our studios across the world explored this field in depth, resulting in a diverse set of outcomes and were looking to harness all this research into one comprehensive project. Innovation at Keywords Studios backed the project in its entirety and offered a platform to test the practical realities of using Generative AI tools within an authentic game development cycle. The goal was learning by doing. We hope that all our gained insights will benefit our studios and our clients alike. 🎮 What's next for this R&D initiative: "The game is fully playable at present, and we plan to complete a web-based version soon."
