At this moment, plans are made for the new year. Even more focus on profitability. Even more focus on retaining precious customers. Some 2024 plans: - Increasing product porfolio efficiency - Starting standardizing customer journeys - Finding new ways to address some dwindling KPIs - Redesigning internal processes, increasing their impact - Making sure that their product is accepted in new markets - Detangling the internal mess (every company aged 10 is a mess) - Actually implementing customer-centricity in a (product-led) company - Putting design thinking / strategic design at the center of whatever they do These projects are always a mix of internal business owners, plus our experts. We solve, but help them understand how to solve it too. Which we think is a good approach. Get expert help. In the end, when you have a big leak, better call a plumber. Why do companies keep posting jobs they don't actually want to fill? Could it be just to gather data? It's frustrating when companies flood job boards with fake opportunities. LinkedIn could help by letting people review companies like Glassdoor does. That way, professionals can avoid sketchy companies—I've seen a few myself. But here's the thing, is it really fair as a HR manager? It's worrying to see these practices, especially from the people who are supposed to handle HR. It feels like they're forgetting the 'human' part of Human Resources. To all the resilient job seekers out there, keep pushing forward despite the challenges. Your determination and perseverance will eventually lead you to the right opportunity. Remember, every 'no' brings you closer to a 'yes.' Stay focused, stay positive, and never lose sight of your worth. Your dream job is out there waiting for you, and when you find it, all your efforts will be worth it. Keep believing in yourself, and success will surely follow. ❤️

To my point I made yesterday with a recent post, this is in much greater detail the struggle applicants share. At what point in time will we get noticed for our experience and knowledge rather than the way we look? Very honest truth, majority of big companies aren’t looking at applications, experience, knowledge or the emails they receive from applicants. They’re looking for the one person in a pile of applications to fit the image. In this day and age everything is about image, how you portray yourself as an individual or a company to reach a certain demographic or specific age group. Take some time, research into the companies you submit a resume or application to. You’ll be glad to know maybe the reason we don’t hear back 9/10 times is sometimes based on that “perfect image”.

NO COMPANIES SEEM TO BE HIRING   I am hearing this a lot from the developers I am working with currently, there are. They are just not shouting it from the rooftops, and they are just being stricter with requirements. The days of 2021/2022 of getting a £25k pay rise and 5 offers are behind us (at least for now). If you are struggling to secure a new role or have been looking for a while the below points might help you...   🔹Consider you salary expectations, if you are solely looking currently for a large salary increase you will most likely struggle. Be reasonable with what you are looking for (if you are not sure what is reasonable speak to your recruiter, a good one will be able to tell you the going rates in the current market).   🔹 Consider working a more office based role - I get it, a lot of the software market want to work remotely. If you are working fully remote and want to continue doing so fine, there will always be companies that will hire fully remote. But undoubtably a lot of the market are looking to move to a more office hybrid model, so if you are open to this you will get a lot more success.   🔹 Consider working for a smaller organisation - You know what companies are always hiring? Start ups - If you are currently opposed to working for a smaller organisation, potentially reconsider. HR Roadmap on Job description while on recruiting a meaningful resource , an experience potential hand it's always suggesting not to fix a defined job description and position him directly.. Which is not a right thing sometimes they resource will act and do more than that so, don't restrict with job description predefined one... Better let them give a roadmap on their experience and with that to conclude job description but not in final at the initial stage itself in order to get new ideas and innovative thought it's better to get participative approach at frequent intervals..
