Managing Partner, Exclusent, Inc. - I.T., Accounting & Cyber Security Recruitment with a 92% Client Retention Rate
Here's the thing about Agency Recruiting that I don't see people talking about... The Recruiter/Account Manager you're working with is MUCH more important than whatever firm they happen to be working for. Yes each firm has varying combinations of Brand Equity, Strategy, Databases, Tech-Stacks, etc... But at the end of the day a Candidate/Hiring Manager's overall experience (& outcome) relies heavily on the specific contacts directly handling their account (and that's not always their initial point(s) of contact). Why am I bringing this up now? I see a wave of consolidation hitting our industry these next 6-12 months... And "who's actually handling my account?" will be a common pain-point. Exclusent, Inc.

Customer Experience Global Guru | Online Training-Customer Service Strategy; Empowerment, the Customer Experience, Creating a Service Culture, and Employee Motivation | Amazon Best Selling Customer Service Author |
What to look for in hiring staff... Customer-service professionals are made, not born, so good core attitudes are essential. You must identify and hire people who have the skills and attitudes you want and then help them learn the skills to provide exceptional—and relentless—customer service. Those people will have an instinct for talking to people and treating them with respect and concern—the foundational elements of great customer service. Positive energy and attitude will go a long way in building a service culture within your workforce. Look for positivity, mental agility, sincerity, and creativity. Once empowered, those people will be relentless in serving your customers. It is critical that you hire people who want to drive your business, who share your goals, and are committed to driving your business. Just as not every dog wants to pull your sled, not every employee wants to do whatever it takes to ensure that your company succeeds. #customerservice https://lnkd.in/e-4aBd6Z

Data Pragmatist, practical theatrical UK GDPR & FOI trainer & consultant. Not GDPR certified (no-one is). Available for hire online or in-person.
Normally, I post jobs on my DPO Jobs feed but I think this one needs wider circulation for two reasons. First, as with the recruitment of non-executives, the fact that the Information Commissioner's Office is recruiting an interim Chief Executive is a sign that those on the inside think that the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill is coming and needs infrastructure to support it. Stop wallowing in denial; change is on the way. Second, the Commissioner's Office has many excellent staff, but the higher you go, the more incompetent it becomes. We all know how interims work: whoever gets this has a strong chance of being the permanent post-holder, and we need someone in the role with real organisational flair and genuine people skills. The Information Commission will be around long after John Edwards has thankfully departed, and the CEO needs to be part of the future, not a relic from the past. So if you are someone or know someone with genuine leadership experience who wants to take on the Mother of All Challenges, look at this job advert. Ask yourself: could I do this? https://lnkd.in/et3EYu8h
