Pouring Elegance: Discover Champagne Up, Close, and Personal Made exclusively from the grapes of the Champagne region in France, Champagne is a drink synonymous with celebrations. But the drink is also shrouded in mystery. Curious to know more about champagne? Let’s start digging! How Is Champagne Made? Known as méthode champenoise, the champagne production process starts with: - Pressing the juices from the grapes - Adding yeast to the alcohol for fermentation - Blending of the wines to maintain a consistent house style - Adding sugar and yeast to help trigger a second fermentation - Allowing the concoction to age for 15 months (non-vintage) or 3 years (vintage) - Placing bottles on special racks at an inverted 45-degree angles - Extracting the dead yeast and sediment by removing the crown cap - Adding still wine and sugar to adjust the sweetness of the final drink - Recorking each bottle and aging it What Does Champagne Taste Like? Champagnes are well-known for their refreshing acidity and fizz, accompanied by a creamy mouthfeel. Fruit flavors like green apple, lemon, and peach are the dominating flavors in the drink. You can also discern subtle floral, brioche-y, and nutty notes. Tips on Selecting Champagne and Creating Cocktails - Consider whether you want a dry or sweet champagne - Check the label (producer, blend, aging, etc.) - Consider the size of the bottle and your requirements - Best go-to in a fix: award-winning champagnes! - Always chill champagne before using it - Serve champagne cocktails immediately - Choose moderately priced champagne for mixed drinks - Champagne should be the last ingredient to go in the glass to avoid an overflow of bubbles Give your cocktail-blending skills a challenge by mixing up champagne-based classic cocktails like French 75, Kir Royale, Mimosa, Bellini, etc. #ChampagneLovers #ProductionProcess #TastingNotes #ChampagneTips #SelectingChampagne #CocktailCreations #ChampagneLife #SipandSavor #BubblyBliss #ChampagneCulture #CelebrateInStyle #ChampagneTasting #WineEducation #BubblyMasterpiece

Wine Bottle Packaging & Shape A wines packaging can hold sway over the choice a consumer makes when buying wine. The shape, label design and structure all play a part in decision making. A bottle with an appealing aesthetic may very well cause a consumer to choose one bottle over another. A labels design can tell the consumer a story about the wine. A more serious font and layout can signify that this wine is a force to be reckoned with, whilst something of a more whimsical nature can suggest that the wine is more laid back and casual. There is also the matter of the shape of the wine bottle: The Bordeaux wine bottle is both common and recognizable in shape. It has straight sides and high shoulders. This particular shape is often used for red wines, but can be used for white wines as well. A Burgundy wine bottle is comparable to the Bordeaux shape, but this bottles shoulders slope and its body is wider. This structure of bottle is mainly used for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Rhône wine bottles are designed for varietals from the Rhône Valley in France. This bottle has broad shoulders and straight sides and is shorter and squatter in shape. These bottles are ideal for Syrah and Grenache. Champagne wine bottles are well defined with thick glass and a deep punt (the indentation at the bottom of the bottle). Specifically this shape is designed for sparkling wines, such as Champagne, Prosecco, and Cava. The Alsace or Rhine bottle, also classified as the Hock bottle, is slender and tall with a long neck. This is mainly used for white wines, namely Riesling and Gewürztraminer. #uniqueboutiqueandaffordablewine #southafricanwines #accessoriesandgifts #winesyoucantfindinstore #winesandspirits #lifestyleproducts #fyp #wineandgifts #winebottlepackaging #winebottleshapes www.invino.co.za

Your brand & corporate storytelling are outstanding. Particularly struck by your hydrogen powered glass making experiment. Well done. Bacardi is clearly a family company that cares for much more than the bottom line. Privately held creates ethical freedom. Well done.
Some say that the Hugo Spritz became the drink of the summer in the US because it helps transport consumers to an aspirational and authentic place. It evokes nostalgic elements of the Southern European lifestyle: upscale, sociable, outside and daytime drinking occasions. The storytelling around the drink was fueled by a wave of post-pandemic travelers who discovered this way to aperitivo from bartenders in Northern Italy and shared it with their friends on social media back home, leading to a surge in St. Germain liqueur sales. For more insights and trends such as “Escapism Elixirs” please check out the Bacardi 2024 cocktail and trends report. https://lnkd.in/eAPFDSu8 For a great tasting, light spritz try the Hugo Spritz: add ice to a wine glass, St Germain (1.5 oz), Martini Prosecco(2 oz), Soda Water (2 oz) , lime wedge, 8-10 mint leaves. Sip and enjoy. For the full experience, I’d recommend of course a trip to Italy. (The wonderful bar team at the St. Regis in Venice led by Facundo Nahuel Gallegos leave no detail to chance). #Bacardilife #stgermain #hugospritz #stregis Emma Taynton FoxStacy Belter - SaltielPatrick HowellCaty Grzymajlo
