🎉 The final ACROSS Project H2020 GA is over! The partners reunited in Berlin for the last time before the conclusion of the project to share the results achieved and discuss the final refinements to successfully complete the project. 🤝 Collaboration, dialogue and great teamwork have been the basis for driving ACROSS forward over the past three years. Thanks to the valuable work of all partners, the final results achieved by ACROSS met and exceeded expectations. The enthusiasm and shared values among the consortium members led not only to the successful completion of the project, but also to the creation of a solution that can contribute to make a positive impact on European cross-border digital public services. 🙏 Special thanks also go to all our stakeholders, experts, and citizens who gave their valuable input to make ACROSS a reality. The SPIRE-SAIS Final Conference Shaping the Future: Emerging Skills for a Sustainable Process Industry It was a beautiful day in Dortmund, the European capital of innovation, in which it became clearer than ever that technological and climate-mitigation solutions can only reach their full potential through highly skilled manpower. Felix Rohn from the European Commission stressed that the SPIRE-SAIS project inspired the European #PactForSkills and congratulated the consortium for its achievements and the collaboration within it, encouraging the team and the industry to take it to the next level with an outcome that will have a significant impact on the #EnergyIntensiveIndustries. The future will be shaped by green skills and trained educators. It’s a wrap but not the end of the journey.

OPEN SOON - Launchpad Marine and maritime in the Great South West - R2 Innovate UK will work with the Great South West to invest up to £3 million in innovation projects for marine and maritime. For this competition, the Great South West consists of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Devon, Somerset and Dorset. The projects will contribute to the Great South West’s ambitions for net zero targets and support for key regional strategic marine and maritime markets. 🚗🌿REALLOCATE, a new initiative aiming to transform urban spaces for a sustainable future, is now part of SAFER’s knowledge portfolio! 🌱🏙️ Running from May 2023 to April 2027, REALLOCATE focuses on reshaping mobility practices in alignment with Mission Cities 2030 climate goals. Ten cities, including Göteborgs Stad, are actively participating, forming twinned pairs for innovative zero-emission, inclusive, and citizen-centered mobility interventions. Announcing Transit IDEA 2024 Challenge: As the Chair of the Transit Innovation (IDEA) program at the Transportation Research Board , glad to announce the Transit IDEA 2024 challenge is now open (https://lnkd.in/gNrvJdkW ) . We are grateful to have additional funds this cycle and will select up to 3 highly innovative proposals for $150,000 each.
