I was out on my morning dog walk and bumped into Kelly Farrant from Pest-Tech Ltd getting ready for a long day of at the coal face of pest control…. and he had a packed lunch. Now, as I have access to the kitchen, I have the luxury of being able to throw together a salad or something made up from all the leftovers in the fridge but I really do miss a packed lunch! I love a picnic! I love packing little bits of yummy food into small containers to enjoy later in the day. I even have my own tiffin tin which I take to the local curry house for my takeaways - much to the amusement of the chefs there. Kelly's packed lunch reminds me when I was at school and my Mum used to make me and my brother a brown bread sandwich (from frozen sliced bread) .. usually liver sausage and cucumber, a monster munch and a yoghurt. Now we have carrot sticks, and cherry tomatoes, mini babybels, a array of crisp options and sandwich fillings and fancy cups and flasks. I am going to have to go down to Dragon Co-working now just to have the excuse to take my lunch with me...
