If you hold a conventional map in your hands, you’ll be able to get a sense of a property’s size, shape and compass orientation. But you won’t be able to see where the tall trees are or which slopes get the most morning sun. And you certainly won't be able to predict where rain will flow or where wedge-tailed eagles will nest. But, all this (and more) is possible with Agronomeye's AgTwin platform. This image, for example, is a visualisation of tree heights on the slopes surrounding Quoin Cottage. why #nomowmay is at best just teasing our biodiversity. Cutting after May is out, has four main negative impacts that can even elimates any percieved good of having not cut in May: 1) Cuts the lifecycle short of invertebrates and therefore eliminating the next generation. 2) Desimates invertebrates and potentially, amphibians and small mammals, that have moved in to take advantage of the developing meadow. 3) Eliminates a nectar source for the rest of the Summer and early Autumn. 4) Eliminates forage foliage including grasses, for the larval stages of a whole host of our butterflies, with August and even September being their most needy months. Please consider the #nomowsummer concept, at least in part, and perhaps even #nomowyear which provides year round habitat, not least valuable wintering habitat. They don't just go somewhere else afterall. Here's a great video to explain it better.

Observation & Pattern Recognition are key first steps of growing before a seed is even planted . It is important we sense/feel out our environment, how we may add to or subtract from or support in new effective restorative ways. Our ancestors were highly skilled at observation as it was dependant for their survival. For us here & now it is equally important for growing with nature, and obtaining yields that not only give to our survival but give back to the earth, keeping us in a regenerative cycle as nature intended. What are we looking to observe & know before ever planting a seed? -Patterns of elements (sun, wind, water, heat/cold flows) -Patterns of animals/insects along with types -Observing functional/dysfunctional patterns of land/space -Networks of natural relationships (bees/fruit trees/flowers) -Types of Soil or available planting mediums/space. -Links between elements (existing and future planned) -Needs assessment vs giving back. What else would you add to this list? #PLANTFORCHANGE Join Our Global Movement Follow PLANTFORCHANGE ✅️🌱💚🙏 www.plantforchange.org

Did you know that enough supplemental (above 600PPFD) light in your greenhouse is almost a MUST when working the whole year and want repetitive and reliable output? You want to know why? Let me give you some key words 🤫: transpiration rate while high light intensity 6th week, damp days for 1 week, transpiration rate goes down but you have meat on your plants- guess what’s the result in the comment section ;) Theres a right way, producing indoor quality in a greenhouse!
