This is hilarious, yet so close to the heart 😄. Product People, you know what I mean. Well, this happens most often when: 1. The organization doesn't know its direction. 2. The PM doesn't know the organization's direction or the product direction. 3. Management is overjoyed with fake agility. 4. Changing direction has become a habit; therefore, they act blind to its consequences. 5. Decision making is not data-driven. And the list goes on. Please comment on your experience...

Incompetent leaders frustrate and indirectly harm the people they govern. Their poor decision-making, mismanagement, and lack of vision lead to wasted resources and missed opportunities, eroding trust in institutions and hindering economic growth. A competent leader, on the other hand, possesses qualities like knowledge, sound judgment, and effective communication. They are well-informed about the challenges their constituents face, have a clear vision, and prioritize transparency, accountability, and the well-being of the people. A good leader listens, values diversity, and fosters unity, inspiring trust, empowering their community, and tirelessly working towards collective progress.

This is funny but true. 🤣 Everyone can start by asking better questions at interview. It is a shame when candidates and hiring managers fail to ask in-depth questions and just skim the surface or do the usual routine. The outcome is a wasted opportunity that fails to bridge the gap, leading to nowhere. Asking better questions may come across as "interrogative" to some but if carried out professionally in the spirit of a purpose-driven interview, can benefit both sides immensely and immediately! Would you not rather the interview to lead to a conclusive decision. If you find this fun and also learned something, share the post and follow me Joo Kwang CHAN for more in future. I get it… managing email can be difficult, and declaring email bankruptcy certainly sounds attractive. But what message does it send to others? 🤔 As a communicator and leader who values virtues, I wonder about the unintended message this practice sends. Does it demonstrate courtesy, consideration, respect, integrity or accountability? 🤷♂️ I’ve been on the other side of colleagues declaring email bankruptcy after returning from a long summer holiday. It took me a couple of years to recognize it and develop an effective strategy to combat it. 🛡️ Even today, some have established a reputation that triggers a process I've developed to remind me to follow up after a reasonable time. I’m happy that it’s the exception, not the rule. ✉️ And I’m grateful to those who make the effort to send a short note that manages my expectations when a full response will take time or they’re not able to meet a target date. I can imagine a few instances when declaring email bankruptcy is a solution, but I'm not convinced it’s an effective strategy that sends a positive message about your personal brand. #ThingsThatMakeYouGoHmmm
